Yeah...don't get the hate...it was good for what it was. It was a monster movie, what are people expecting?

Loved cloverfield. Very enjoyable. This looks okay if they actually show some stuff about the monster.

I think we shouldn't presume too much with this. It will likely be in the Clover/Slurpo universe but kaiju movie it may not be.

It's being released in IMAX -- I'm sure you'll be seeing some monsters

This was filmed in 2014 and I don't think it was originally meant to be a "Cloverfield" movie. JJ says it will be a sister movie with Cloverfield so not a direct sequel for sure

Yeah news came down that it was a low budget flick that never got released, and the studio picked it up and shot some new scenes to tie it into cloverfield.
