Fleury to play in WJC for Canada
I am most glad to see that the Pens have allowed Fleury to participate in the World Junior's with Canada. Thanks CP. This should be a huge boost for Canada as every other significant eligible NHL player is not being allowed to play for Canada. At least that's what it was when I last heard on OTR last week.

Yeah but seriously, it's a smart move no matter how you look at it. He won't be getting shelled by the world's best players, so his confidence will get a bit of a boost. The time he has off might get him to play under the 25 games or whatever, but that's not a huge deal. Canada will benefit since he's the man. The only problem I guess, is who will back up Caron? :o </b></font> |
blue jackets should let Nash go play. :shifty:

It looks like Aubin is still with the "baby pens".
Most likely Aubin will be called up, however, I think it is a possibility that Chiodo may have an opportunity to play. Stats as of December 6, 2003 Martin Brochu 5GP 1-3-1 2.83GAA J-S Aubin 12GP 3-5-2 2.66GAA Andy Chiodo 10GP 5-3-0 1.95GAA |
add Crosby to the mix, and Canada has a fine chance of winning it all.

Aubin is back with the Pens
