Will Shane beat The Undertaker at WrestleMania - POLL
I donut think he will.
HELL YES
0.00 percent chance
It will be a tie and go to a penalty shoot out. So I voted YES/NO
My guess is no, but there is an angle shot on RAW the next night to shake things up.
I think Shane will hit the 'coast to coast' move with a trashcan on Taker tho...probably will hit him a bunch with a kendo stick too...can not see Shane escaping the hell's gate submission tho...prob will lose via passing out heroically
I wonder if Vince will try to gloat post-match and get a tombstone straight to hell from Undertaker

Shane beats Taker clean with a single punch.
No but Triple H will join Shane for Smackown/NXT
Idiot
Vince didn't say he had to beat him
Just face him |
Yes. Cena helps Shane, in an effort to spin the business in a positive direction. This leads to Undertaker wanting to murder Cena at WM33.
I like Mr. Pierre's idea.
This is seriously the only match I'm looking forward to. Nothing else screams "This could only happen at WrestleMania." I'm enthralled.
If Cena does cost Taker the match, so we boo because he just fucked over the franchise player of the company, or cheer because yaaay new guy in charge that we like?
Shane is gone after mania. So is taker.
The match is weird because it's basically mega-face vs mega-face with a lot on the line... but I'm still looking forward to it.
It's also weird that it's in Texas and I THINK we're supposed to root for the guy who isn't from Texas. But whatever. Intriguing match. |
He's already lost, so it'll be just another match.... Shane will win, but there will definitely be shenanigans, likely of the off-beat variety....
The whole thing is kinda pointless if Shane don't.
Doubt it. Can't imagine Shane has a sudden interest in the company to be around long term. I imagine he is back to gain some superstar power for Mania.
In kayfabe, I don't really care who wins as it's all scripted anyway and nothing will change "behind the scenes"
In reality, with all these videos of Shane's training, I'm genuinely thinking if they had a real fight Shane would come out on top. |
Brock Lesnar and Shane McMahon are the two guys who could beat Taker at Rasslemania.... no

The Undertaker will have the match firmly won, but then he'll hear Vince gloating. He realizes that he loves and respects this McMahon, and that the passionate fight for change Shane is leading is a good one. The Undertaker will not finish Shane McMahon, but instead forfeit the match, defeat himself at WrestleMania and implode.
. |
Implosion seems like the best way to retire The Undertaker.
He should turn into an urn in the middle of the ring like a real-life transformer.
Will The Undertaker return to the funeral business or do you think he will retire young?
Probably not although wouldn't be surprised if Noid's idea of Taker refusing to finish off Shane happens in the end.
They've done a really bad job of explaining why Taker even cares or keeps agreeing to do Vince's bidding but also feels like Taker is going to "turn" on Vince in the end. |
Undertaker will summon me to the ring to destroy Shane

Can someone explain to me why are they fighting in the first place?
Shane seems like a ridiculous idea for Taker's last match. For any match, really. |
Taker said he wanted to go out big and Vince decided none was bigger than a McMahon but felt he was too old, Steph is a female, HHH has already faced Taker so that left Shane.
Taker cut a promo on RAW saying he may not win but he won't let his legacy end staring at the lights on top of AT&T Stadium. It was really powerful and the crowd looked emotional. |
Taker should have retired already.
IDEA:
Now that Undertaker's career is on the line and Shane is playing the role of "Best for Business" Shane takes a beating from Taker...but stars (Austin, HBK, Foley, etc) keep running in to try and help Shane beat Taker...not because they dislike Taker, but because they think Vince needs to be removed from power...And Taker then takes a knee, lays down and lets Shane cover him, 1-2-3 for the win, because at the end of the day Taker wants WWE to live forever. Post-match Vince is livid inside the Cell, berating Taker and eventually slapping him. Once Vince does that Taker does the throat slash gesture, hoists him up and hits a tombstone. Taker then pauses and looks out at the crowd who start a "Thank You Taker" chant before walking to back, hoisting his arm up one last time before going backstage. |
^ That might be the best way to salvage this... Taker doing what's "best for business." Although this also assumes Shane coming back will be long term and not just a quick burn to get interest for WM, and then Shane goes back to his non-WWE ventures.
Otherwise, Taker SHOULD beat Shane, so thus, I believe Shane will win because it's illogical. |

Keep Cena better protected when he returns, have Cena v. Undertaker @ WM 33, straight up one-on-one, Cena wins an epic battle and retires 'Taker next year at 23-2. It also allows 'Taker to say, and WWE for that matter, that he had 25 years at WM. |
It's fake anyway. I don't care anymore. I hope David Arquette runs in.
Actually, for my idea, since Cena is supposed to have some kind of presence @ WM 32 (in a non-wrestling role, of course), why NOT have him cost Shane. Not accidentally, but actually willingly, to pull off a major heel turn for him finally. What better place to di that than 'Mania? Then you just build with a pissed-off, über babyface 'Taker trying unsuccessfully for the next 11 or so months to get a match with Cena. Cena finally agrees to a match at WM 33, with 1 condition and 1 understanding: 'Taker's career is once again on the line, AND 'Taker won't be gettingb"Cenation" Cena, he's getting "Doctor of Thuganomics" Cena.
Would be awesome and would allow Cena to actually work as a monster heel for a while. His whole "Hustle, Loyalty, Respect" schtick is just SO tired right now. |
