Would you be ok w/ Owens, Zayn, Jericho and Styles going in the Andre Battle Royal instead of singles matches?
 

There are already 8 matches announced...and WM has had 8 matches the last few years (iirc)...I could see them forgoing singles matches for WM and adding their feuds to the Andre Battle Royal to have some feuds happening in it instead of being totally random....and that Lane/Brie Bella thing reaks of 'pre-show' material already.

Would you be ok with this (they can only fit so much on a four hour show and already have 8 matches PLUS a segment w/ The Rock and the annual 'Hall of Fame' group appears PLUS someone sings America The Beautiful PLUS Austin/HBK/Foley will all have spots worked in for them most likely) PLUS a segment for FLO RIDA to sing the WrestleMania theme/have a concert.

There's like 8 people uninjured that could be in a battle royal. Wouldn't be shocked if the Jericho/AJ thing is moved into the IC title picture, possibly in a ladder match.

Guessing the Dudleyz/Usos will be pre-show anyway.

If the IC title was up for grabs I could dig it. Would also add something to winning the ATGMBR other than just winning the match.

Dunno what to vote for in the poll. Aside froma few matches, I found 27, 28 and 29 to all be "not great".

WWE just announced the Battle Royal will be on the pre-show...LIVE on the USA NETWORK one hour before WM begins...I guess this does not change things...

I assume the Usos/Dudleys thing will be a tables match b/c I have no clue what else the point of it on the card is.

Still, I'd prefer it for those 4 to have a match between them, then settle their feuds properly at Extreme Rules if there was only space for one more match. The battle royal is going to be more jobberish than usual. Hopefully one of the Outcasts win.

Guessing Strowman or injured old Bray wins though, the latter without doing anything.

I bet Braun Strowman wins it to kick-start his big mega-push and eventual HOT FEUD w/ Roman Reigns for the WWE Title

I'm still waiting for the day a smark crowd stays silent instead of booing and just either leave or turn their back to the match. That may do it.

Rather those two matches are kept to help beef up Mania's card than waste those guys on a match that is pretty meaningless hype wise this year.

Doubt adding those 4 guys would make the WWE reconsider who they want to win based on recent hints by the dirtsheets.

Zayn vs Owens has been one of the most intense, personal feuds in recent memory. It deserves a culmination at mania.

I'm okay with an Owens/Zayn/Miz/Styles/Jericho ladder match, go ahead and add in another two guys say Ziggler and I dunno, preferably Nakamaura.

Top 5 personal favorites or best overall?

Something along the lines

1. Ambrose
2. Wyatt
3. Brock
4. Reigns
5. Miz or AJ Styles.

My least favorite is no charisma Neville.

Other really good wrestlers would be Dolph and HHH. This is only going based off active wrestlers. Cena, Orton, Rollins, and Cesaro would be in the mix too.

Owens is a badass also. Not possible to only list 5.

They definitely deserve legit spots on the card over Ryback / Kalisto, Dudleys / Usos and that Brie Bella / Lana clusterfuck. Probably not New Day, but definitely League of Nations. Fucking hell, the card is awful.

Miz has been good lately and totally deserve a spot on the card, not the battle royal.

Don't see how you can like Wyatt right now, his promos are aimless and he has no credibility.

Dunno if people are in denial or whatever, or if tastes have just changed, but the card looks terrible, from top to bottom. No real long term feuds, no two guys whose match has been built and built and now we are finally getting that big match between them, it's all random crap.

That means the card needs to rely on match quality. With matches like Shane and the main event (which will be OK, but probably not amazing), it would be a mistake to leave off matches where guys will deliver the goods.

Battle Royal and Dudleyz/Usos pre-show and let these guys raise the match quality of the card...

well AJ/Jericho is one of the main reasons I want to even watch WM so I'd prefer that to stay a singles match

Would I be happy if four of the best talents in the company were put in a Battle Royal instead of highlight singles matches? Probably not.
