Battle Royals: yay or nay?
 

I've been reading more and more on the net that because dislike Battle Royals which amazes me. I don't who is in it, if there's a Battle Royal I will watch it. It's my favourite type of match.

Hell ya. Love those matches the most. Don't give a shit if it's a bunch of jobbers either. Andre Battle Royal is something I look forward to each year now.

I give zero shits about SmackDown nowadays but if I see in the spoilers that there's a battle royal I will watch it.

Kinda shit result, though. Also, that wasn't what I was trying to post...I thought it was the one where Angle made his surprise return in the middle of the match...now THAT was awesome.

Battle Royals are fucking awesome.

Battle Royales are great. Even if the winner ends up being bad, the match itself usually is entertaining.

Battle Royals/Royal Rumbles are the best. Not a "work rate" match but a tremendous spectactle always.

This.... it is usually just a "big mess" until it thins out.... but it is a "sight to see"...... Plus I like all the "spots" that can be done with the eliminations.... adds another "element" to rassling that you don't "normally" see....

I think one of my favorite battle royal tropes nowadays is that there's always somebody who gets thrown out within a matter of seconds. Always fun to guess who that will be.

They're pretty much always fun, except when the ending is telegraphed. Even then, the actual match is usually a h00t.

Huge fan of Battle Royals and other than a tournament (which I despise the fact that they don't do more of) they are the best way to crown a new champ if the title is vacated or create a new #1 contender....

They may be a bit of a hassle to organize creatively, but a good #1 Contenders Battle Royal could spawn a new challenger for the title and a handful of other feuds in a simple 20-minute match..... Tag Teams and stables can be created/dismantled as well....

Damn...looked all over YT, could not for the life of me find that Jan. 06 SD! battle royal where Angle returned and won the WHC...if anyone could find that (the whole match) and post it in here, I'll make it worth your while with a green dot.

Wrestlers don't like battle royals so that board was trying to seem cool by not liking them either.
