* Dean Ambrose kicks off RAW to a big pop. He hits the ring for the first ever episode of "The Ambrose Asylum" and talks about current events. Ambrose introduces his guest and out comes Shane McMahon for another huge pop. Shane talks about how he's here for the fans but Kevin Owens interrupted. Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho also interrupted. This led to Shane announcing at PAYBACK that it would be Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho vs. Dean Ambrose. Shane said since everyone wants to fight then he is going to let them fight, right here, in this very ring tonight! Shane announces a double main-event of Sami Zayn vs. Chris Jericho and Dean Ambrose vs. Kevins Owens for tonight.
1 - Chris Jericho defeated Sami Zayn clean with the Codebreaker.
* Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson interrupt a backstage AJ Styles interview with Rene Young. They greet each other and exchange pleasantries. Gallows and Anderson make it clear that at PAYBACK they have Styles back.
2 - Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady come out to a huge pop and cut great promos about things you can not teach and being sawft. Enzo and Cass defeated The Dudley Boyz to advance in the tournament.
* WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns comes out to deafening boos. He cuts his promo about how he isn't a good guy, he isn't a bad guy but that he is "the guy". AJ Styles interrupts. AJ talks about their match at PAYBACK and how he will leave with the title. Out of nowhere, Anderson and Gallows attacked Reigns and layed him out to a massive unreal pop. Styles watched from the foot of the ramp as they laid Reigns out with the Magic Killer (slik note: I have no idea what that move is).
* Backstage segment with Reigns and Styles, who says he had nothing to do with Anderson and Gallows attacking Reigns in the ring
* Dolph Ziggler comes out for commentary
3 - Baron Corbin defeated Fandango, who got a big pop. Corbin had sent Fandango into Ziggler earlier, so Ziggler attacked Corbin after the match and got laid out at ringside by Baron.
* - Promo for Epico/Primo being from Puerto Rico.
* WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz is out with Maryse for "MIZ TV". Cesaro is the guest but they're interrupted by Sheamus, Rusev and Alberto Del Rio. WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day also come out to a deafening pop. This leads to a match via Shane McMahon.
4 - The New Day and Cesaro vs. The Miz and The League of Nations is next. Fans chanted for King Barrett early on. Cesaro got the win for his team after hitting a Neutralizer on Sheamus.
* Backstage segment with Natalya and WWE Women's Champion Charlotte. Natalya reveals she will get her title shot at PAYBACK and her uncle, WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart, will be in her corner to counter the Nature Boy "Ric Flair".
5 - Natalya, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Paige defeated Tamina Snuka, Naomi, Summer Rae and WWE Women's Champion Charlotte when Charlotte tapped out to the Sharpshooter.
* Another promo for Epico/Primo being from Puerto Rico.
6 - Vaudevillians making their RAW debut against Usos for the tag tournament is next. The Vaudevillians defeated the Usos clean via painfall to advance to the finals of the #1 Contenders tag team tournament. They will face Enzo and Cass in the finals.

7 - Apollo Crews defeated Heath Slater. The other Socials Outcasts were at ringside except Adam Rose b/c he did drugs baby drugs.

8 - Dean Ambrose vs Kevin Owens is the main-event. Ambrose pins Owens clean after hitting a dirty deeds. Post-Match Chris Jericho runs into the ring and hits the codebreaker on Dean Ambrose. Jericho is wearing a vest and scarf. Chris Jericho stands triumphantly over Dean Ambrose as RAW goes off the air.
