Yup. There it is.

Hope there's a way I can just get Modern Warfare alone instead of having to buy that awful looking space shooter with it.

I think it looks pretty cool.

My plan is to buy both, and bring back Infinite War the next day.

And just by doing a bit of reading, it won't be a stand alone. Gotta get one of the qualifying editions to get Modern Warfare remastered.

Thought about that but those assholes are smart...they'll package the digital code inside, so I'll be forced to open it up and only be able to exchange it for another damn copy of Infinite Warfare.

This round of CoD actually looks cool.

In regards to the Modern Warfare remaster, Raven Software was revealed to be the studio working on this version and not Infinity Ward.

For those that own the original game on the Xbox 360 and PS3, stats from those versions will not carry over to the current gen versions. Same goes for the PC version.

It isn't. Probably too many hackers on the original version for them to do that.

Some potential Good/Bad news regarding Infinite Warfare itself.

The good news being Infinite Warfare likely will be having a beta occurring before its release and the bad news being campaign mode will not support co-op play. Zombie mode will support co-op play though.

Why do people hate this game? It looks similar to the last COD game and that one got praised.

Because people want Modern Warfare remake, but not to pay $80 for it and the cover of Bowie in the trailer is absolute shit.

But isn't it the remake and the new game bundled in together? Would people be happier if they didn't remake the game at all?

I think 1) People would rather buy MW1 separate than having to buy the new CoD with it...and 2) There isnt a lot of faith in what Infinity Ward has offered as a product ever since MW3*. MW3 was pretty uneventful, and Ghosts was considered the worst CoD in a long time.

edit: I mean 3....MW and MW2 were fantastic.

Series fatigue and the games looking and/or playing too similar over the years. Even Zombie mode is starting to be seen as stale since its in every CoD game now instead of being something that showed up every couple of years.

Also one of those things where people bandwagon on the hate since its the cool thing to do over the years.

I hit series fatigue after MW3 A new game ever year is awful. You get really good at the last one and then boom a new one comes outs the old one gets hacked to shit and unplayable.

As a gamer I'd like them to release one every 3 years but it's probably way to profitable to do so.
