Will basically be watching http://www.twitch.tv/easyallies for the duration. Best in the biz, baby and they will be streaming stupid amounts of hours during the press conferences. Also should have E3 BETS up this week.

Here's the 2015 bets at their old company

EA's thingy is going to have multiple 2018 games as well as this year and next year.

Boomer 06-07-2016 01:46 PM

I don't think I would care about E3 at all if Giant Bomb didn't have the after-hours shows each year. There is something incredibly appealing about people in the games industry (often) getting drunk on camera and shooting the shit during the show.

#BROKEN Hasney 06-07-2016 01:58 PM

I like Giant Bombs stuff, but last year was when I was took time off to watch them while watching Gametrailers coverage, so freaking good.

Will be catching up with the Giant Bomb stuff the day after most likely.

Emperor Smeat 06-07-2016 02:36 PM

Besides Watchdogs 2, Ubisoft teased more games they will be showing off during next week's E3 event. Also for some reason decided to release a teaser trailer for their E3 press conference.

Quote:

Eagle Flight (VR) – Official Website

Developed exclusively for virtual reality, players will soar over the skies of Paris as an eagle and experience the freedom of flight. Players take on enemies in fast-paced multiplayer battles for up to 3v3 or level-up flying skills in single player to navigate their eagle gracefully through the city’s most iconic landmarks.

For Honor (PS4, XBO, PC) – Official Website

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, For Honor drops gamers into the chaos of a raging battlefield during an ongoing war between three Great Factions: the bold Knights, the brutal Vikings and the enigmatic Samurai. For every battle, players can choose which warrior they want to embody amongst the unique Heroes from this pantheon, using their distinct skills and weapons to fight for land, people and honour, decimating all soldiers, archers and opposing Heroes who stand in their way.

Ghost Recon Wildlands (PS4, XBO, PC) – Official Website

Set a few years from now, Ghost Recon Wildlands lets players lead a team of Ghosts, a four-player U.S. Elite Special Operations unit, on a covert mission to eliminate the Santa Blanca drug cartel, an underworld power and growing global threat within Ubisoft’s imagining of an incredibly beautiful, yet dangerous Bolivia.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole (PS4, XBO, PC) – Official Website

Delve into the crime-ridden underbelly of South Park as the New Kid, players must harness their super powers to fight crime and become part of the most beloved superhero franchise of all time.

I don't think GB's banter live during the conferences is nearly as good as their late night stuff, so I don't care as much about missing that (and I probably will - just depends on work). But I straight up lose sleep for their late night stuff - I just hate that they have to take so many breaks to set up new panels and such.

But I like hearing old men talk about video games, I guess. I don't really pay attention to any other coverage anywhere. I used to go to Gametrailers for some of their video content, but I know the GB guys too well now to care about hearing analysis from anyone else. Every time I watch any games coverage now (besides GB) I often just feel old and out of touch. And I'm 30, so that's ancient, right?

I'm 31 so thanks for making me feel old!

Yeah I do like the just drunken mayhem of the Giant Bomb thing, I just never get to appreciate it live from the UK unless I accidentally wake up early. I know what you mean, most YouTibe coverage is aimed at the kids so EZA and GB are the two left that I can actually deal with!

Current rumors regarding Bethesda's press conference:

Quote:

According to multiple sources, Bethesda will show off sequels for Prey, Evil Within, and Wolfenstein: The New Order at E3. The latter I totally get as they even followed it up with the highly successful and well-received Old Blood (plus it was basically confirmed already), but Prey is rumored to appear at every E3, and with Evil Within's mixed welcome, I'd be shocked to see a sequel.

But the biggest bombshell that will go over with the crowd is probably a Skyrim remaster, which will reportedly include mod support on consoles (just like Fallout 4), improved visuals, and all of the DLC in a GOTY-like fashion -- that might sell more than all of the above combined.

drave 06-07-2016 06:13 PM

Meh, played the shit outta Skyrim and not sure I would play it again just because it is "prettier".

drave 06-07-2016 06:14 PM

Actually, it is the one 360 game I still physically own. Took half the week off work and went to the midnight launch. That was the last release party I attended.

Fignuts 06-07-2016 07:30 PM

Would agree with you if not for the mod support bit. That alone would make it worth revisiting.

For that, I will just jump in to the next game set in the world of Cyrodil, or wtf ever it was called.

Been playing some Elder Scrolls Online and can't keep my geography straight :-\

#BROKEN Hasney 06-08-2016 02:27 AM

UbiSoft's conference is going to have cringe in it, I can already see it based on that Watch Dogs trailer.
Get hacked on stage Aisha saying its all unplanned, maybe a meme or two. Watch Dogs 2 gets shown.

Well, I doubt we'll see Cyrodiil (aka The Imperial Province). It served as the setting of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and interestingly (or not), it is the capital province of all Tamriel, with the capital located in the Imperial City, from where the Emperor reigns.

I'd enjoy seeing a future game set in a province that hasn't been done yet with perhaps its additional content set there, though. Could be really cool if done right, especially to see how the Imperial City has changed since the end of Oblivion.

Fignuts 06-08-2016 03:10 AM

I want fucking Black Marsh. Screw those stupid cats and their hippy province name.

I dont think you'll ever see Argonia. The lore makes it sound completely uninhabitable to non-argonians.

Fignuts 06-08-2016 02:22 PM

It's fantasy. There are plenty of ways they can change that.

Haha, I wasn't trying to call everyone old, gaming culture just already makes me feel old already.

#BROKEN Hasney 06-08-2016 03:40 PM

Jeff from Giant Bomb will be driving to E3 with Alex and Danny O'Dwyer from Gamespot and will be live audio streaming it at some point on Saturday. It's about a 5 hour drive.

I guess you could have a game where non-argonians have to wear mass effect helmets about all game...

* The E3 trailer for Injustice 2 was recently released early online.

I'll admit it. This delay for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be well worth it if they added something entirely new to the game. Kinda like the VR Missions in Metal Gear Solid.

Captain Cold would be the easiest (and coolest:lol:) since all they have to do is copy & paste Sub-Zero's powers/move set.

Blue Beetle could be interesting.

I think the most realistic guess I've seen so far is Conan. He's on the YouTube Gaming show too.
