Rumor is something very rural this year...like a CULT or Texas Chainsaw Massacre-ish.

Season six was filming in Big Bear last week...lots of forest and mountains...maybe a campground or cabin theme?


Sarah Paulson + Cuba Gooding JR filming something today in LA...Cuba possibly joining season 6...

Just announced on variety, hollywoodreporter, etc: Season 6 will air starting September 14th...show usually starts in mid-October. No theme announced yet...hmmm.

Wasn't there a rumor earlier in the year about Slenderman being a possible theme. Might fit in with the clues about this season taking place in the middle of nowhere and the dark blank Facebook picture.

Hopefully that means they tone down on the amount of side stuff going around at the same time. The evil infected kids storyline was the worst and most rushed part of last season.

Then again when 24 came back for a final season with fewer episodes, all that happened was them cramming everything into less time instead of just focusing on fewer storylines.

I would be fine with a smaller cast too - like the first season had. 8 or 10 characters instead of 15 or 16.

Damn, Freak Show was actually my favorite. :(

Now, I've never seen a single episode of Season 5. Since the show is a totally different story every season, I'm not going crazy with suspense at the end of a season and dying for the next one to begin because it ended with a cliffhanger like most season finales do. I'm not counting down the days until it returns like I do with other shows, so I can see how the storyline progresses, or because I'm so invested in a particular character's progression. I like to binge-watch an entire season of AHS from beginning to end over the span of a few nights.

With that being said, I watch the show on Hulu, which Hotel has not been put up yet. But out of the first four seasons, Freak Show was definitely my favorite. Loved the characters, storylines/plots, the setting. I loved it all (Couldn't get enough of Dandy, just his entire progression throughout the whole season. HUGE fan of the story of Dandy Mott). But anyways, my preference is:

1) Freak Show
2) Asylum
3) Murder House
4) Season 3 (Coven maybe? Can't be bothered to look it up lol.)

Absolutely loveedddd Freakshow and Asylum. Murder House I really enjoyed, but just slightly less than my first two choices. And I in no way whatsoever consider the third season bad, I enjoyed it, just not up to par with the others IMO.

Anyway, the pictures I've seen and the one or two rumors I've read about Season 6 definitely seem intriguing, and I of course will be watching.

With that being said, what are some of you guy's opinions on Hotel? How does it match up with the other seasons? I never saw one clip or read one sentence regarding the plot, I know nothing other than the setting and the actors/actresses that will be a part of the season. Any opinions?

Dandy was the saving grace of that season.

Hated the ending of Freak Show watching the last scene where they are drowning Dandy in the water chamber you could 100% tell that scene was meant for Stanley and not him.

Did not like that season at all actually.

Freak Show is by far my least favorite season. Oddly, Dandy is probably my favorite character from AHS though. Like a Patrick Bateman murdering machine from the 1950s.

I didn't really like COVEN that much either...I love the first two seasons, Murder House and Asylum. I liked last year too, Hotel. Hoping this season is dark and creepy.

There is an add-on, for web browsers, called Hola. It will get you around geographical restrictions for pretty much anything.

Used it at one of my jobs to stream the World Cup for the Mexicans in the warehouse. They loved that shit.

I liked Coven. I might be the only one who liked coven.

1st episode was pretty awesome. Legitimately creepy. First time I've thought that since Asylum (season 2).

The second episode was true horror, zero melodrama. Loved it. This season is legitimately creepy.

This might be the second AHS I watch all the way through

After I watched a bidding war between Cuba Gooding Jr and the Wyatt Family I was sold.

It's been ok so far. I like the premise of it. I'm not sure why Evan Peters hasnt been in it the first two episodes. Thats just dumb. But so far I like it a lot better than season 4 and 5.

I love that Cuba Gooding Jr is in it. I was skeptical earlier in this thread, but i'm glad i was wrong. He brings so much energy to every roll he plays. I love him.

Tonight's episode was so good.

The show has been officially renewed for season seven due to high ratings, huzzah!
