I just saw the commercial for it and I was like WTF, seriously.

Yeah, it seems kinda stupid.

I think it's suppose to be stupid/b movieish just like Army of Darkness. Haven't seen it myself but I hear it's pretty good.

I have been seeing the commercial all day while watching TV. I do not feel joy in it's message.

It's amazing. It manages to be funny, heesy and yet at times deal with the very real life fear of getting old. It plays like a serious drama at times, a cheesy horror flick at others.

Why does it invlove Elvis?

I can't wait to see it.

hmmm, well the commercial leaves lot to be disired.

Just saw it today but stopped watching and lost my attention like about an hour in cause the video store got busy out of nowhere. It was good from what I saw though.

Great film for what it is. Well written, and the dialouge is great ( Not Tarentino quality, but well done.) Bruce Cambell is the shit.

I just got it today. I love the movie. I think its one of the greatest things that I have ever purchased.

I just watched it again and no matter how many times you see it there is really no movie out there today that you can compare it to. This is definently something that is no copied.

Just saw it. It's quite good. The mummy was cheesy at hell, but suitably creepy at times. The scenes about old age had me reflect on my own mortality.

If anyone rents out the DVD, be sure to check out the commentary track where Bruce Campbell watches the film as if he were Elvis. Entertaining.

Funny. A while ago, when we did the "Funniest Movies of all time" tournament thing, I'd recommended Bubba-Ho-Tep, and it got eliminated before the preliminaries.

Anyways, awesome movie. Bruce Campbell is your new hero.

I SO blew off this movie whenever it was mentioned here on TPWW. I thought it would just be a lame, yet possibly funny movie. Then I saw it yesterday...

Holy shit, that was good stuff. NOTHING like I expected. It was incredible. Just... wow.

BTW, I never knew Bruce Campbell as the guy from Army of Darkness. Then I saw this movie and the first thought in my mind was "OMG, It's Briscoe County Jr.!!!" That show was great.

So I watched it, it was good. Nothing great, but I give it a lot of credit for it's originality. Better than the big 'blockbuster' movies that normally come out, that's for sure. This was a good recommendation :y:
