Smackdown spoilers for 6/23/16

Could see them putting Jericho in place of Reigns for Battleground with Ambrose pinning him to retain. That would still leave Rollins with a legit gripe about not being pinned in the match and a returning Reigns to build for Summerslam.
First set of spoilers might be fake since another set of spoilers have recently popped up for Smackdown.

Link to where the first set came from: http://www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/...for-this-week/ Also seems like Main Event this week is also suffering from fake spoilers being sent since it also has 2 sets floating around the net. |
Second ones seem more legit.
First set sounds more legit
Yeah, sorry Fan, no offense but I smell what the Lock (Jaw) is cookin' and think he's correct. I'm dubious if not slightly suspicious of the idea that the crowd would reference Reigns' suspension so soon after it was announced. I know we live in a fast-paced world nowadays and word spreads quick via social networks, the internet, etc., but just doesn't seem like WWE crowds these days are usually quite THAT smark-ish.
Got no fucking clue. There is one set that has Sasha Banks beating up Becky Lynch, which sounds fucking stupid.
AJ Styles beating Jimmy Uso seems likely.
Second set are correct

First show sounded worse, Jericho should not be beating Dean Ambrose.
I thought it was going to set up Jericho replacing Reigns in the triple threat which I'd be fine with. The rest of the it just seemed better than the second to me.

He lost via distraction/interference. It isn't like he lost clean.
Plus the first set has Becky Lynch in it.
Can confirm second set are correct. Source? I was in attendance
Wait. They are partially correct. Becky lynch wrestled Dana too. Dana won, Charlotte did some horsey shit, Sasha came out to a thunderous pop, charlottes galloped away
Also new day vs vaudevillians. New day takes the win.

That sucks.... the Becky segment in the first set would be preferable to her losing to Dana Brooke....

Can second that the show started with Rollins being interrupted by Zayn...

The Vaudevillains and Becky Lynch are going to be so over when they split the rosters.
I actually have to laugh sometimes when I see people online that are like "Why do they introduce The Vaudevillains twice?"
Like I realize some are probably kids who can't make the distinction between a carnival barker and a ring announcer, but the ring announcer only announces them once like everyone else. I don't think they had any control over their entrance theme, which I quite enjoyed their first of when they came up, using the "old tyme" organ music or whatever it is, combined with that intro just makes it great. It's like it's 1885 and you're at an old Ringling Bros. P.T. Barnum and Bailey circus, and for those few brief seconds, WWE programming really is the most exciting show on Earth. |

Come to think of it, that introduction should be the only announcement for Aiden English & Simon Gotch.
The Slickster has been saying that for weeks!
Well, The Slickster gets rep. :y:
Yes, yes he does. They should totally just go with their intro and nothing from the announcer. Maybe on special occasions have their own announcer come out and do the bit from their intro.
My wife personally hates their intro. I find it to be absolutely perfect for them. The black and white aesthetic is very well done. The only niggling issue I have with it is that when they yell during the 'silent movie' portion of their entrance, occasionally they get a bit too loud and get picked up by some of the more distant microphones that aren't muted. I imagine it's honestly the announcers mics picking them up. They need to bring it down a notch so that it doesn't ruin the immersion. |
This is gonna sound weird....but honestly whenever the Vaudevillains come out I picture them as bad guys in the wild wild west. Occasionally Sherlock Holmes Victorian setting. But mostly the west.
Will Smith kicks their asses a lot but they do a great job selling it and still coming off as viable villains. |
If they're going to keep them around, they should have dialogue cards attributing quotations to the muted announcers. Things like "This is the greatest team ever!" being attributed JBL. And "Vintage vintage!" attributed to Michael Cole.
They should also bring up Alexa Bliss who refuses to even show us any ankle.

Sure, why not?
