King Cuerno Appreciation Thread
 

This is a thread in which Our Lord and Savior, King Cuerno will be appreciated.

I know. I get it. The dude looks like a total doofus wearing a mounted trophy on his head. That's exactly what I thought, too. But over the first season of Lucha Underground, it actually starts to make sense. He is the Horned King. He's a hunter. I watched him over the course of 40 plus episodes have aerial wars, mat wars, mental wars and win them all. And then on the 1st episode of Lucha Underground, he speaks for the first time.

In PERFECT. FUCKING. ENGLISH. LU did not dub him over (if a performer speaks Spanish, they will be subtitled. see: Star, Sexy & Pentagon Jr.). I am mildly convinced at this point that King Cuerno could be the Latino megastar that Vince has desired so badly for so long.

Please tell me that I am not the only person who feels this way.

I do like the headdress. Pretty solid in the ring of what I've seen.

And really why wouldn't he be draped in the skin of his vanquished prey?

I love LU and King Cuerno is definitely among my favorites. The Arrow from the Depths of Hell is the best suicide dive in the business.

King Cuerno is most definitely dope, but Prince Puma is where it's at. He also has a really stupid headdress.

Yeah, but Ricochet is a star. Period. With or without the mask. Vince wants this Latin star and can't find it. Cuerno has that star power, the heritage, and can work like a motherfucker.

My nigga, Lucha underground is the only wresting I've watched in years. It's great. Love Cage, Mil Muertes and Pentagon Jr. Cuerno is sweet too tho.

Update: finally debuted in NXT this week with his usual gimmick of El Hijo del Fantasma. the Arrow from the Depths of Hell was involved. Worth the wait.

Damn.... Like I know now that "hijo" is pronounced "e-ho".... but in a rassling context, I am used from a young age saying and thinking "El he-joe"..... so just totally read that as "El he-joe"......

God bless, I was seriously worried the Arrow wasn't coming, so this is great news.
