Black Manta is going to be the villain

Jason Mamoa will play Aquaman, Amber Heard will play Mera, William Dafoe will play a character named Vulko. The film will be directed by James Wan (SAW, The Conjuring, Fast & Furious)

Just finished reading every Aquaman comic book from roughly 2011 (New 52) to present day......

And it was top notch..... feel like I have a much deeper understanding/appreciation of Aquaman now.....

Aquaman is one of the best superheroes IMO but he has a bad rap b/c people think he stands around and talks to fish (he doesn't). Cool character.

Yeah, his greatest weakness aside from the Super Friends show was his terrible terrible name.
