WCW:1988 to 2001. Thats 13 years
TNA : 2002 to 2016. Thats 14 years and still going.

1998 to 2001 is 3 years. No one can say owenbr0wn isn't good at math.

Well its kind of a junk stat since the NWA just rebranded as WCW for all intents and purposes

NWA kind of did the same thing with TNA though.

No not even remotely. TNA paid NWA to use its name and title in order to lend it credibility until it had some of its own. WCW rebranded the NWA tv markets essentially taking its territory by force.

Yeah, territories were dead by the time TNA started in most part because of WCW but they both spawned from the NWA was more of my point.

It was all they needed to bring Hogan over

Yet, Vince woukd only pay like 20 dollars for TNA instead of the millions it took to buy WCW.

And Reality of Wrestling has lasted way longer than ECW

If I had to guess, the point of this thread was LOLTNA, as per usual.

NWA was NWA. 1988 was the beginning of the WCW brand. TNA has outlasted WCW with all its deep pockets and TV production resources.

i wouldn't exactly call what TNA is doing is existing after all they have the WWE'S and japan's sloppy seconds

Who exactly is in TNA that is a Japanese sloppy second? That's still existing by the way, WCW did the same thing just with bigger talent at the time.
