Ellsworth has jumped the shark and he never should have beaten AJ. The only way to salvage this is to book a triple threat with AJ/Ambrose/Ellsworth for the title, but if Ambrose doesn't win, he won't ever receive another title shot as long as AJ is champ. Have Styles pin Ellsworth here, and move everyone along. Besides Ellsworth. Move him off TV.

To much interference on these AJ/Ellsworth matches, they need to be booked for Hell in a Cell.

I actually wouldn't mind AJ decimating Ellsworth with no interference. Too bad it's a Raw exclusive PPV.

I would enjoy the amount of heat AJ would get if he left Ellsworth motionless in a puddle of his own blood.

Honestly this is probably one of the worst possible thing that could have happened to wrestling, but I've long since given up hope that WWE or the business in general will ever be legitimately good again. Who would have thought that the chinless jobber of Braun would get more air time than Braun. I actually liked his first match with AJ and thought it was booked right but AJ should have just beat the hell out of him and won the championship match. I'm actually hoping that the face authority figures on SD sticking it to Styles makes him bring the Club back.

I watched the Smackdown title match last night and I thought it made Ambrose look pretty heelish to be honest. Styles knew the guy had no business in there, as the heel he still tried to end it. Ambrose throwing him back in made him look like a real douche.

I also wouldnt have minded Styles getting one up on Ambrose at the end.

I might be in the minority here, but I've actually been enjoying the Ellsworth shenanigans the past couple of weeks. I mean, if you're SmackDown! LIVE right now, you've got time to develop your storylines and rivalries until Survivor Series. You might as well have a bit of fun setting up the next chapter in the Styles/Ambrose title feud.

The guy is just a plot device in the Styles vs Ambrose feud. Ellsworth didn't beat Styles. Ambrose did. I thought that was relatively obvious.

People are actually acting like Ellsworth selling more t-shirts than the serious wrestlers is a good thing. People are making these outdated jokes about a jobber being a GOD and don't realize how surreal it is that this is the actual reality being presented on WWE television. Your jokes are SmackDown, folks.

I agree with those who say "None of this matters anymore, so who gives a fuck?". This isn't good, but who gives a fuck, right? Who gives one flying fuck? After all, it is just a device to get to another Styles vs. Ambrose match that no one will give a fuck about either.

I think it's more indicitave of the times, than the interest in the rest of the roster. We live in the age of the 5 minutes of fame internet meme, and that's essentially what Ellsworth is. It's just the type of story that appeals to the masses.

There's probably some truth to that, but genuine stars would be a lot more over.
