A McMahon in the white house. Vince would jizz everywhere.

UPDATE: Vince has jizzed everywhere. See Post #34 below.

Droford 11-13-2016 07:14 PM

I knew given the McMahons bailed out Trumps foundation that if he won Linda would have some sort of role in the Trump administration

Any room big enough in the White House to hold a WWE Ring?

KIRA 11-13-2016 08:07 PM

Trump is setting up his pro Corporate Legion of Doom nicely.

Evil Vito 11-13-2016 09:05 PM

This is the darkest possible timeline.

Black Widow 11-13-2016 11:48 PM

Give Hogan a place somewhere on his team.

Vastardikai 11-13-2016 11:57 PM

Surprised it wasn't Secretary of Labor, and she define all workers as "Independent Contractors."

slik 11-14-2016 12:39 AM

That would be 2 people working in the White House who have been the victim of Stone Cold Stunners

Volare 11-14-2016 01:40 AM

This is the only chance we have of making Stone Cold the actual Secretary of Alcohol.

erickman 11-14-2016 02:04 PM

Would there not be any kind of issue with somebody being given such a powerful position having just donated $7m?

Despite criticism of WWE creative over the years, Linda always ran the business in an effective manner. So she's a good a choice as anyone.

Mr. Nerfect 11-15-2016 07:34 PM

I don't think I need to explain to anyone how the above post contains huge leaps in logic. My brother ran an effective business for over ten years, therefore he must be qualified too.

Emperor Smeat 11-15-2016 07:47 PM

Think Linda hasn't been involved with the WWE since 2009 when she started a career in politics. Outside of some charities, the most she ever ran the company was during Vince's roid trial only because Vince wasn't around.

Even her actual ownership of the company is tiny for someone at the owner level.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Best I can count, here's the breakdown of <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%24WWE&amp;src=ctag">$WWE</a> ownership after Vince sold over 2 million shares (2.8% of WWE) today. <a href="https://t.co/6X0ZcbERTm">pic.twitter.com/6X0ZcbERTm</a></p>&mdash; Brandon Howard (@adecorativedrop) <a href="https://twitter.com/adecorativedrop/status/732374010999246848">May 17, 2016</a></blockquote>

Why can't you be as successful as your brother?

I'm sure your bros company was pretty sweet, but was it a market leader like WWE, did it create as many iconic brands as WWE has? Was it as big financially?

Many business leaders don't want to be in those spots because the pay is far lower than they are currently earning. Linda on the other hand clearly has a desire to be involved in politics, so considering her is logical. I personally don't think President Elect Trump will ultimately choose her, but it's not like it's the Million $ Man being considered. She's a legit choice.

Mr. Nerfect 11-16-2016 05:49 PM

Lol, swing and a miss.

Yes, because running a large for profit company is exactly like running a large governmental agency.

Who said it's the same? The qualities that made her successful in business could be transferred to a government role.

President Elect Trump hasn't held public office but the American people gave him a mandate to run the country. I'm sure they felt his skills in business that led him to build a multi billiion dollar empire could be transferred to helping America make great deals and win on the international stage.

Again, I don't think she will get the spot, I think there are better choices, but I'm also not ignorant enough to say just because she was a sports entertainment exec she can't hold a prominent role in President Elect Trump's cabinet.

Mr. Nerfect 11-18-2016 09:22 AM

Lol, President Elect Trump.

Mr. Nerfect 11-18-2016 09:24 AM

That's a lot of great assumptions you're making.

The qualities that made her successful in business could be a disaster if transferred to a government role.

President Elect Trump hasn't held public office but the American people gave him a mandate to run the country. I'm sure they felt but didn't bother to think through that his skills in business that led him to build a multi billiion dollar empire could be a disaster if transferred to helping America make great deals and win on the international stage.

I would rather have people who have created wealth run the country vs. people who have never created any jobs or wealth and have sucked off the tax payer's tit their whole life. But I'm whacky like that.

Yeah, because certainly nobody has ever made the connection that wealth=power and the old saying that "Power corrupts, but absolute power corrupts absolutely." There have been some great American presidents, but quite a few of the earlier ones came from rather humble beginnings.

Linda McMahon is headed to The White House

Quote:

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-us...-idUSKBN13W2QY

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump said on Wednesday he will nominate professional wrestling magnate and former Senate candidate Linda McMahon as his choice to head the Small Business Administration. Trump's announcement said McMahon would be a key player in his effort to generate stronger job growth and roll back federal regulations.

McMahon, 68, is a co-founder and former CEO of the professional wrestling franchise WWE, which is based in Stamford, Connecticut. She ran unsuccessfully for a U.S. Senate seat in Connecticut in 2010. She was an early supporter of Trump's presidential campaign. The SBA, which has at least one office in every U.S. state, provides support to small businesses such as by extending loans and making sure they get a percentage of federal contracts.

Trump said McMahon had helped the WWE grow from a 13-person operation to a publicly traded global enterprise with more than 800 employees worldwide. Trump is a WWE Hall of Fame member. If confirmed by the Senate, McMahon would join a Trump economic team that includes Wall Street executives Steven Mnuchin at the Treasury Department and Wilbur Ross at Commerce. "Linda has a tremendous background and is widely recognized as one of the country’s top female executives advising businesses around the globe," Trump said in the announcement. McMahon said her goal as the SBA chief would be to promote small businesses and help them grow and thrive.

“Our small businesses are the largest source of job creation in our country,” she said.

Well this makes a ton of sense.

Frank Drebin 12-07-2016 07:43 PM

This opens up a whole world of possibilities for surprise entrants in the Rumble!

Vastardikai 12-07-2016 08:56 PM

Nothing says irony like someone who ran a company that hires hundreds of "Independent Contractors" that gets to be called a "Small Business" because of said misclassification.

Evil Vito 12-07-2016 09:59 PM

When she has to go to meetings she'd better enter to this.
