What is the biggest Dream match WWE has after Cena/Undertaker?
Would it be Roman Reigns vs John Cena?
The Rock vs Brock? Samoe Joa vs John Cena? AJ Stiles vs The Rock? |
AJ Styles vs. Brock Lesnar for me
If Cesaro were still as over as he was just after he won the first Andre Battle Royal I'd say him vs. Lesnar but I think that ship has sailed. |
I'm not interested in Cena vs Roman but I have no doubt that will headline a SummerSlam or WrestleMania at some point. I don't think Rock will really ever wrestle again like in a lengthy match like Rock/Cena. I think Taker is done after WM33, possible Brock/Goldberg/Jericho as well.

Sting vs Taker. People have been wanting it as a Mania match for years.
Cena vs Reigns as a "passing of the torch" type match could be huge but probably also be one of the most forced dream matches considering how WWE has built up Reigns so far. |
To me dream match has to either have never happened or happened long ago on a small stage that nobody remembers. Rock vs Brock or HHH doesn't qualify to me. If the question is which mega matches are interested in, that's different.
Austin vs Brock is mine because of the history there. Austin vs Cena would be fun too. |
Brock vs. Rock easily. There is that "we've seen it before" element, but Brock somewhat ended an era for The Rock. He left and then returned Hollywood, and after that he has been a part-time guy. There's a potential "I destroyed The Rock as wrestling knew him" angle to take. They are two men that transcend wrestling now too.
If we're going to include Austin, then Austin vs. Brock is definitely huge. Austin vs. Cena or even Austin vs. Daniel Bryan would be pretty special. Kurt Angle vs. Daniel Bryan, Shawn Michaels vs. Daniel Bryan and Shawn Michaels vs. Brock Lesnar are also honorable mentions. |
Surfer Sting vs Biker Taker ONLY

Didn't know Taker vs Cena was a dream match.
|
It's not.
|
Especially with the streak gone. I'd rather not see it, frankly.
|
tbh, the only one that they have left that has more tan a 10% chance of occurring is a Shield Triple Threat....
|
That 100% already occurred.
|
A returning Daniel Bryan vs A returning HBK
Miniscule chance of happening though. |
Sting/Taker is above Cena/Taker. That's why it's winning so big.

Sting vs Taker for me. Its the only match I have any interest in involving The Undertaker. Would like to see it at Mania this year with it being both of theirs last match.
|
How would that match even go? Neither is exactly a technical genius at this point in their career. It'd have the hell produced out of it, but it still seems like a disappointment waiting to happen. Sting also has no capital with the company.
|
I feel like seeing Sting/Taker in 2017 would be a bit like managing to fuck the hottest girl in your high school class at the 10 year reunion. Cool that it happened, but highly unlikely to live up to the hype created in your own mind.
|
Also I don't want Sting to wrestle again after picking up a major injury wrestling in his mid-50s.
|
Styles vs HBK
Stone Cold vs Dean Ambrose |
I still don't understand how the WWE FINALLY gets ahold of Sting he never crosses paths with Taker and they somehow think Sting V HHH was the match everyone was chomping at the bit for.

HBK v. Rock. Sadly the odds of this ever happening are very very infinitesimal.

Triple H vs. Sting will never not piss me off.
Sting on Raw: "I'm not fighting for WCW. That would be ridiculous at this point." *WrestleMania 31 features run ins from DX and the nWo* JBL: "HOW COULD YOU SIDE WITH STING HULK? YOU MADE YOUR MONEY HERE! COME ON TRIPLE H! WIN IT FOR WWE!" |
Sting vs Taker now is the equivalent of the sunny porno.
|
Samoe Joa vs Sting could be cool too.

I've been desiring to see an Undertaker/Goldberg program for a long time. (Specifically however, I wish to see Mark Calaway using his biker gimmick if he worked with Bill because The Dead Man isn't a trash talker and the insults would be apart of the appeal of seeing the confrontations.)
The angle could have happened in 2003 and it's a darn shame it didn't in my view. I would have enjoyed the intense promos between the two. Both were trash-talking, bad-boy redneck looking dudes and powerhouses. I think it would have been an epic feud with a great series of interviews, promos, backstage brawls and matches. |

Yeah terrible choice WWE made there. Another logic lock submission win for The CyNick |
