AJ Lee was pretty freaking sweet from her time with Daniel Bryan all the way to the end of her career.

She could talk, she could get people invested in her, and once she actually started having matches, she had some good ones vs the likes of WWE Paige and Kaitlyn.

Overall I would say that AJ Lee has provided me with more "fond memories"/"moments" than Roman Reigns has.

Not really a fan of either, but AJ Lee got the crowd to react as both a heel and a face. She has been involved in memorable angles at a main event level and she was competent in the ring. She also had a unique look and character that she made her own.

While Reigns is arguably better in the ring, he remains awkward as a personality and can't get over as a face. He has had a sustained push for years now and rather than create memorable moments and become a unique personality, he hasn't evolved much at all and has actually ruined more moments than he has been a part of.

Reigns is underrated in the ring for me, and I could see people voting for him on that basis, but his character and persona are awful and for that reason, AJ sneaks it for me

AJ and it's not even close lol. She was able to break through at a point when women's wrestling was a joke and still standout. Were she around today she'd probably be one of the top competitors in the division and likely the face of one of the brands.

I was ready to say Roman Reigns.

AJ Lee was an excellent second in the Big Show/Daniel Bryan program. She was an excellent "character" outside the ring in the aftermath of all of that stuff too. She really started to lose momentum when she started wrestling.

I was all on-board with her at the time, but in retrospect, her wrestling was pretty shitty. I mean, can anyone remember a great AJ Lee match? Some will blame dance partners, but even the stuff I really wanted to see, like AJ vs. Paige turned out to be quite the flat program.

I think AJ Lee is underrated as a manager/valet -- especially given how few people are given the chance to succeed in that role in the modern era. I think her position as a wrestler is, frankly, overrated. With all that being said, I put things back to my "Who would you rather have on your roster?" test. Right now, I'd probably have to go with AJ Lee, based solely on the charisma factor. Even if she were an announcer or a manager, she'd have more value than Roman Reigns, in my opinion. Again, I expect this to change once they stop working against Reigns and let him play into whatever natural charisma might be laying dormant there, but until he shows that, I think I can make more money with AJ Lee's personality than I can with Reigns' ring work.

I feel like this is a cheat because it is "Better Wrestler" and I am considering using AJ Lee in a non-wrestling role, but it's all part of the wrestling presentation, and it's all about getting over and making money. I could probably build up AJ Lee for a few big matches that would put butts in seats far more than "Here comes Roman Reigns again."

Tough choice only because the lack of direct comparisons and outside of brief periods, WWE being horrible when it comes to handling women's wrestling in general.

Went with AJ mainly for believing she did more with the stuff given to her than Roman and her impact on the Women's division being bigger than Reigns in general. Should have been a no contest in favor of Reigns since he has way more opportunities to succeed but the WWE has botched his booking and development to the point the more they push him, the worse off he ends up becoming.

I'm not saying this to be snarky, but I genuinely forget about AJ Lee in sort of the same way I forget Randy Orton exists when he's not the focal point of something.

AJ easy. Paige takes credit for being the first in the women's revolution but I've always thought it was AJ. Her involvement with Punk/Cena during their feud was incredible. She literally was able to play a believable insane like I've never seen before. And she was pretty good in the ring too. I wish she'd have never left.

Oh and every time I see her it seems as though my wee wee is suddenly stricken with rigor mortis.
