Bryan Alvarez has reported that Rusev is "in the doghouse" with the dreaded "nuclear heat" because of a tweet he sent out complimenting Jack Swagger. Swagger recently asked for his WWE release and was told no.

If he's not in any match, I would have Rusev come down and cut an angry promo about being disrespected despite being the premiere athlete, and how two years ago, he came here in a tank, and was crushing people, and what a travesty it was that he was not being granted a match, and do the usual anti-American schtick.

Then hit Kurt Angle's music. Kurt comes to the ring in adoration. Typical back and forth banter. Rusev goes for cheap shot. Angle gets the upper hand. Olympic Slam. Milk bath celebration.

That would be a fun segment, even if Rusev ends up looking not so great, simply for the nostalgia factor and the Angle pop.
