Has WWE always been awful with their camera work?

Feel like they constantly miss things.

Destor 04-25-2017 09:04 PM

Yes, but its gotten worse

Savio 04-25-2017 09:15 PM

Like I dont need a crowd shot every 10 seconds, or different angles when 2 people are giving an in ring promo.

Emperor Smeat 04-25-2017 09:32 PM

Been like that for years and they seem to keep finding new ways to make it worse.

Felt like maybe things would have changed when they did the Draft with new stages and stuff but they went right back to the usual terrible habits shortly afterwards.

Destor 04-25-2017 09:34 PM

Theyve started habing terrible cut aways during high spots. I think maybe kn the delay they're covering up for wiffs but i dunno. Eitherway it makes the producer look bad

I have noticed it a lot lately. It seems like its more on SD than Raw but both are bad. I am more annoyed by the amount of commercials in the middle of a match there are. It has gotten so bad that I can tell when ey are about to cut to commercials. If a guy takes a big fall out of the ring time to fast forward.

Triple A 04-26-2017 05:07 AM

I remember when I first started watching again a couple of years ago the camera work was really "jarring" to me... seemed like they would cut away at really unnatural/annoying moments and stuff

#BROKEN Hasney 04-26-2017 05:20 AM

It's not even just the cuts, the Michael Bay SHAKY ACTION CAM is annoying as fuck. They dialled it back a bit at least, but goddamn when it was at its worst. From 1:25:

They had shaky cam she AJ attacked shane. It passed me off.

SlickyTrickyDamon 04-26-2017 02:52 PM

TakeOver had lousy camera work.

mike adamle 04-26-2017 03:14 PM

Bloody hell, that's awful.

I must have blocked that out because I really don't remember the camera work being that bad during that segment.

Evil Vito 04-26-2017 05:40 PM

The weird thing about the shaky cam is that for whatever reason I never consciously noticed it until somebody pointed it out. After that I couldn't un-see it.

Big Vic 04-27-2017 09:37 AM

I hate them switching angles in in-ring promos more that I hate shaky cam....maybe I dunno, shaky cam is awful.

lol It's like they're trying to make it seem like this is all some random event being filmed spur of the moment with a handheld camera. What the fuck?

I can see why some movies decide to do it, because they can film like they are literally in the middle of it and getting knocked about even though it looks like shit there too. But outside of a ring? lmao.

XL 04-27-2017 05:25 PM

It's the zooming in/out that's the most egregious part of it.

Blue Demon 04-27-2017 05:56 PM

The one that used to drive me nuts the most was during the Attitude Er there were always laser pointers....dunno if it was the fans, but it seemed like every week the werestlers hd laser pointers on them.

Yeah that was the fans. Couldn't go to any large arena event in the 90's without at least one cunt with one.

From the 4:18 mark on.......can't watch it without feeling sick

Juan 04-28-2017 04:01 AM

I honestly never noticed any of this until this thread. Or maybe it just never bothered me
