Smackdown (Live?) Results 5/9/17
 

WWE will be taping tonight’s edition of Smackdown at the O2 Arena in London, England. The taping will begin at around 2:30pm EST, and spoiler results will be posted below.

-Dark Segment: Owen White came out to deliver a promo against Max Moon but suffered a LEGIT injury after he tripped and fell off the ramp, he is expected to be out for a year.

-The show kicks off with Randy Orton in the ring for his first promo since his loss at WWE Payback in House of Horrors. Orton is interrupted, however, by Jinder Mahal, Baron Corbin and Kevin Owens, following by AJ Styles, Sami Zayn.

The main event of the night is then made and it will be Randy Orton, Sami Zayn and AJ Styles vs Baron Corbin, Kevin Owens and Jinder Mahal in a 6 man tag team match.

-The first match of the night is Natalya vs Becky Lynch.

Natalya gets the win after scoring a pin fall on Becky Lynch following a roll up. It was then announced that at WWE Backlash, Becky Lynch will team up with Charlotte and Naomi to face Tamina Snuka, Natalya and Carmella.

A “Fashion Files” vignette then aired for the live crowd.

-Erick Rowan vs Luke Harper is up next. Rowan got the pin fall win after hitting a new finishing move.

-Dolph Ziggler then came out to cut a promo on Shinsuke Nakamura, which prompts Nakamura to come out. Nakamura then challenges Ziggler to a match on Smackdown but Ziggler tells him he doesn’t want the match tonight, he wants it at Backlash.

-Breezango defeated The Ascension

-The main event of the night saw Kevin Owens, Jinder Mahal and Baron Corbin defeat Randy Orton, AJ Styles and Sami Zayn. Mahal scored the pin fall victory on Orton, who he will be challenging for the WWE Title at Backlash.

Notice Charlotte has her tights hiked up her ass tonight to give the impression she has an ass.

So SDL womens division has broken back down into faction warfare? I'm starting to susepect they don't want SDL to be the better show ,although at this point you could show a jar of mayonnaise on Tuesday and it would still be better than RAW.

Ok I do love that Charlotte is still a dick.

Better than RAW but theres somithing about taped shows thats just....off.

Just picked him up like he was going to do a fallaway slam, then spun around and did a regular slam

Something really "unseemly" and "unsettling" about that Mojo Rawley and kids segment..... like he lured a bunch of kids backstage.......

Baron Corbin looks so much better with a shirt.

camerawork seems "out of control" in this match

JINDER MAHAL PINNED THE CHAMPION!!! WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR THIS SUNDAY NIGHT?!!

Seems like there is a rule that they have to cut away to a different camera angle during every single move

Watching YouTube highlights... Jinder Mahal not yelling in his promo... not nearly as good. Talking in a soft and calm voice. Should just talk in a screaming, deep heel voice all the time, that was the best part about him imho

Maybe he listened to Jim Ross' advice a couple weeks ago about being more calmer or less shouting with his promos.
