Yes because Rey Mysterio is a very good wrestler and he never give up and if you saw his match with Brock he put a good fight and brock had to cheat to win.

luchador,but as far as wrestling he's just average; however,he could hold his own (not wrestling wise,but performing) with Dean Malenko and others. |

Of course he is good. The guy practically revolutionised the business by the time he was 20 years old. Major props to the man and his ability to stay fresh.

The problem is, Vince McMahon has no respect for the little guy. People like Rey and Ultimo are some of the hottest fu</>cking wrestlers in the biz, and they have no real outlet. Especially when the Cruiserweight title is being contested by Jamie Noble. I like the guy, but he's just nowhere near in the same league as a lot of the cruisers. |

Rey is easily the best cruiserweight wrestler in the world right now, and in terms of overall performance, I'd put him right up there with guys like Angle and Jericho. He's a spot machine, but all of his spots have a purpose to them, and they look DAMN cool. I've seen him do moves that I didn't think were humanly possible, and does them with such style that he makes them look easy. It's absolutely disgusting how badly Rey and the other Cruisers get treated due to Vince's big-man fetish; WWE is the only place in the world where you'd see a brilliant worker like Rey jobbing to A-Train :'(
Oddly enough, on a side note, I just bought th Rey Mysterio DVD today. It's quite alarming to see how much WWE made him slow down, especially if you play one of his WWE matches and his WCW matches back-to-back. Still, watching Rey give Psicosis a flying hurricanrana from the turnbuckle, off the ring apron, and onto the floor produced probably the biggest mark-out moment I've had in a long time, so I've got to give WWE props for putting out that DVD. |

Mysterio is a huge worker who could be a main eventer of pushed right. Obviously, he might not fare so well against a huge hoss, perhaps, but if he feuded with a Benoit or an Angle, a win could be believable. It'd also make for a nice cycle: hoss beats cruiser beats technical solid guy beats hoss. Or something.

I think he is a great wrestler, he has great skills, and great moves, but indeed his size is the problem. They should let him team up with Ultimo or someting...just so we can see him more :p

Depends who he has to work with and how he is booked. He's an amazingly skilled preformer, yes. But if he is booked against Big Show in a squash, obviously he isn't. Just how you look at it.

Of course since Vince prefers big guys he books highly talented stars like Rey Rey to get squahsed by lesser talented stars. (i.e. Big Show)
