Fuck ya. It won't be anywhere near as awesome as my first go around but I will be playing this anyways.

What does this mean. "Vanilla".....

Base version before any updates/expansions.

Most people will end up hating it IMO. There is a ton of wasted time running around and such. It was amazing imo because of the friendships I was able to build with so many people. But most people will have their own clicks this time due to people playing games together for like 20 years.

If they do it like Everquest did Progression servers, this will be a huge hit.

Wonder what point it will be at. Wonder if they will have any battlegrounds or if they will go back to the very base of the game.

It will have a huge start but then most of the population will dwindle very quickly. I am still down though.

Is Wow even worth playing anymore? I kind of want to start back up but hearing it's all about the Final Fantasy game now.

You never played everquest obviously. Daybreak has opened at least 4 progression servers that i can remember. Each one gets tons of play from the opening to about the 4th or 5th expansion. They sell something called a krono which can be bought and then used as currency in the server's economy. This is how Daybreak keeps making money.

World of Warcraft will do the same. And they will make a lot of money. People wont stop playing them.

I don't think you realize how bad Wow really was at the very very beginning. Or how much time you needed to invest to not only level up but become raid ready.

It will be HUGE at first but will have a rapid decline.

Um I played it from the beginning and tons of people have been asking for this. Blizzard was not going to do it but so many people insisted.

You dont get how they make money off this. Look into Everquest progression servers.

I get nostalgia, but come on. There's lots of free vanilla servers.

There aren't. Blizzard had them shut down.
