Josh Matthews, Impact Wrestling announcer, is now the 'Impact Grand Champion' their 2nd biggest title behind the Impact Global Champion (Austin Aries formerly of 205 Live).

Don't you have to be apart of a major promotion(wwe) for a title to be considered that?

Nah, the Global Title is their renamed World Title and the Grand Title is another secondary title that was added by Billy Corgan.

For that to be true, they would have to keep hotshotting indy nobodies to be their world champ and tout them as the next big thing, only to book them into the ground and switch the title to the next next big thing indy nobody in six months. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
