Best Wrestler or wrestling movie

im tied between Ready To Rumble, They Live and No Holds Barred......

Ok Im going with No Holds Barred because of the theme song.

Helmsphere 02-28-2018 04:58 PM

Catfight Anal Pro Wrestling was the greatest Pro Wrestling movie ever made.

Bad News Gertner 02-28-2018 07:28 PM

Body Slam. End of story.

Sixx 02-28-2018 07:37 PM

Are you serious with Ready to Rumble?

Never seen No Holds Barred, I don't think.

Droford 02-28-2018 08:11 PM

Blood Diner had a wrestling Nazi named Jimmy Hitler. Wssnt the main focus so probably doesn't count

Droford 02-28-2018 08:13 PM

Some one should say Nacho Libre

Believe me when I say you're not missing anything.

DAMN iNATOR 02-28-2018 08:30 PM

Anyway, I'd have to go with The Wrestler. Mickey Rourke was brilliant in that film.

#1-norm-fan 02-28-2018 08:39 PM

If we're not counting porn, "They Live".

#1-norm-fan 02-28-2018 08:40 PM

Was thinking of movies starring wrestlers and forgot all about The Wrestler.

Probably that, actually.

Destor 02-28-2018 08:40 PM

The wreslter

Bad News Gertner 02-28-2018 09:00 PM

Anyone ever watch the Original "The Wrestler" made by Verne Gagne? It's not bad.

Bad News Gertner 02-28-2018 09:01 PM

If Blood Circus ever comes out then that will be my number 1.

Still though, if you haven't watched Body Slam before check it out

#1-norm-fan 02-28-2018 09:13 PM

Was "Blood Circus" the one made by some guy who was just using the movie to try to sell gold jewelry or something?

Bad News Gertner 02-28-2018 09:50 PM

Santo Gold, Santo Gold!

TBF, I wasn't aware of that version.

Vastardikai 03-01-2018 03:57 AM

"Grunt, The Wrestling Movie" is quite amazing. It's bad, but so bad it's good.

Adrian Street is easily the best part of it.

Shisen Kopf 03-01-2018 07:43 AM

Beyond the mat and Card Subject to Change were pretty good. But they are documentaries and I'm sure someone will say that doesn't count as a movie bc it's a film or some goofy shit.

DAMN iNATOR 03-01-2018 02:21 PM

WILL SOMEONE BOOK THIS GUY ALREADY, FFS?!

I had it on DVD a long time ago. Piss poor video quality and audio made it unwatchable. Maybe theres an uploaded version thats better, Ive never bothered to look

I heard it referenced in Foley's first book.

#1-norm-fan 03-02-2018 12:07 AM

That was where I first heard about it.

I got a copy of "Grunt! The Wrestling Movie" from the mid 80's on Ebay years ago. It was wonderfully horrible.
