Honest opinion, thoughts on this situation

This vid has been going around for awhile and I wanted to ask you guys what do you think about the situation. On one hand, everyone knows, don't touch the wrestlers.... but on the other did the guy really deserve a straight punch to the jaw?

Of course he deserved it. Touching wrestlers is one thing. Trying to unmask a luchadore is straight up disrespectful.

So what if it was a kid who tried to grab the mask?

Was it? No. What's the point in speculating on what didn't happen?

He probably would have noticed it was a kid before he decked him though, if we must.

That's why I'm asking your opinion, would your stance be different if it was a child who hit a wrestler or tried to pull his mask off?

Maybe when taking a kid to a show like this, it's the parent's responsibility to let the kid know what is OK and what isn't OK.

But the dude in this particular video looked to be much older than a kid.

My opinion is that the dude there was being a disrespectful idiot and deserved what he got, but without any evidence to the contrary, I'd give La Parka the benefit of the doubt in knowing how to react to a child being a dick and an adult being a dick.

My friend's 6 year old son kept punching me over and over again just yesterday, but it's not like I just beat the shit out of him, ya know? I know what a kid is. La Parka probably does too.

There can be repercussions when you intentionally try to be a dick. Getting punched in the face is one of those.

Yeah this isn't just a case of "don't touch the wrestlers". Dude fucked with the mask of a luchadore at an event in mexico. He's lucky he got off with just a punch in the face.

Ive laid out people who crossed the barrier and I'd do it a thousand times over. No question.

Wouldn't blame La Parka at all for that situation.

Besides the negative stigma of being unmasked too early, La Parka's safety was at risk since he's not expecting to get hit by someone in the crowd nor knows their intent when it happens.

Yup. A quick pat on the back or shoulder is one thing, but grabbing and tugging at a mask is not cool.

He had every right, he was assaulted.

Dude deserved it. Even if it was a kid he'd deserve it.
