WWE has done a number on Drew McIntyre
 

While he's certainly above the majority of the roster, he has lost some luster over the past year. From losing his undefeated streak to Dolph Ziggler on a random match on RAW to all the losses he incurred at the hands of Balor and Rollins.

I understand that he wasn't a priority at the time, but wouldn't it have meant a lot if he had gone into this year's Mania undefeated against Roman (whom he lost to twice)? There was a time where folks were clamoring for a Rollins vs McIntyre program for the Universal title, and personally, I saw some potential in a program where Strowman faced off an undefeated McIntyre. What is your take on this?

Does anyone else feel that associating him with Shane O'Mac makes his come across as his lackey?

Very. And transitioning from Ziggler's heavy to Shane's heavy adds to that. After all that time away and a run through NXT to wash the comedy jobber stink off of him, and he's now been remade into random henchman meatshield. Oh boy. Way to build that star.

I'm still trying to get over WWE teaming Sean O'Haire with Roddy Piper. McIntyre will have to wait.

I was really hoping for an angle where both Ziggler and McIntyre come out of a car crash and due to amnesia think that they are early 90s Shawn Michaels and Diesel.

Him losing to Roman despite all the help from Shane makes him look so weak

For me personally, it was when Lesnar stole the MITB match. Drews whole thing since he got back was he is taking out everybody that doesn't work hard. Then while Brick is out boomboxing with the briefcase, when it would have made perfect sense for him to come out and confront Brock, he was nowhere to be seen, instead opting to be the guy that eats pins to keep Shane strong.

If Drew keeps with it, I think he might become the next Baron Corbin.
