How did I not know they held their draft already?

Thought they mentioned it beforehand that the only players who are going to be paid reasonably well are the starting QBs for all the teams and everyone else gets like CFL money at best.

Vince is using the same mindset from WWE where he already decided who gets to be the big marquee stars for the XFL's revival and market everything around them.

Yeah the pay scale is weak, but it's the same allure every alternate football league has offered, which is the chance to get a shot, or another shot, in the NFL.

Still, it's not like the league didn't put those numbers out there, so that player is just dumb if he has no idea until he quit.

Supposedly XFL did lie about the pay scale for non-QBs although they also told people of the new changes well before their draft so either Corey Vereen didn't find out until very recently or got fed some bad info from his agent.

Also seems the pay for QBs remained unchanged which probably added to his frustrations.
