First inductees into the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame have been announced.

Looks like it's Hogan, Hall, Nash and Syxx going in.

erickman 12-09-2019 10:37 AM

I guess bischoff will induct them

Jordan 12-09-2019 11:06 AM

Who is the main event, NWO or Batista?

slik 12-09-2019 11:57 AM

Why are they announcing this in December...Tix just be selling like dogshit

Evil Vito 12-09-2019 12:30 PM

I love Waltman and am glad he's getting the 2-time honor but it seems weird that he's being added with the big 3, and nobody else.

Not weird to me besides Big Show those are the only members i got any memory of.

Seanny One Ball 12-09-2019 01:10 PM

Hogan, Hall and Nash were mediocre wrestlers with great personalities. Sean Waltman was a great wrestler with no personality.

Lock Jaw 12-09-2019 03:01 PM

Scott Norton should run in and powerbomb everyone during the acceptance speech

Yeah, WWE usually holds off till around after the Rumble to start officially announcing names.

If I had to guess its probably just them trying to be one step ahead of the dirtsheets since this is around the time of the year when potential names and lists start getting leaked. Wouldn't be surprised if the next names get revealed on future episodes of WWE Backstage as a desperate ploy to boost its ratings.

Loose Cannon 12-09-2019 03:23 PM

weird Big Show is not going in. Maybe they want to induct him as a solo first.

although has X-PAC been inducted as a solo yet?

RP 12-09-2019 04:13 PM

You cant put NWO in the Hall of Fame and not have Scott Norton included.

nWo has been presented forever as Hogan, Hall, and Nash.

I get that, but not sure how Waltman, who was the 6th person to join hence the name Syxx, is included. He wasn't even in the nWo that long.

Big Show and Ted Dibiase joined before him, and were in longer.

Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell feel way more nWo Syxx.

Macho Man and Mr Perfect were far bigger stars.I

Scott Norton and Konnan were big contributors.

What about the Wolfpack? Lex Luger and Sting were in that. Hell, what about Fake Sting?

What about the nWo B&W jobber faction with Stevie Ray and Disco Inferno?I

nWo 2000? Jeff Jarrett and Bret Hart

WWE nWo has HBK and Booker T

Hell even Dusty Rhodes, Dennis Rodman, and Vincent were in the nWo lol

They EVEN had the nWo "ELITE", stick that in the HOF, Young Bucks would cry :(

They could get SOOOO many 2 time Hall of Famers!

Really though, all these 2 time Hall of Famers, seriously how many of those do we need?
Flair
Hart
Booker T
Hogan
Hall
Nash
X-Pac

Seanny One Ball 12-09-2019 06:11 PM

How many times is Howard Finkel in?

In the very early stages of the nWo there was also Virgil and Ted Dibiase

Mongo Lloyd 12-10-2019 12:29 PM

They must be really scraping the bottom now.

Miss Elizabeth

I wonder if they will finally let Christian in this year.

I'd pop for that.

Probably further down the line.

Only if he buys a ticket. And wears a blue dot.

Evil Vito 12-11-2019 11:26 AM

I wouldn't be shocked if they do a sight gag where a whole bunch of former nWo members on good terms with the company show up on stage in nWo shirts...even the awful WWE version of the stable. Big Show, HBK, Harlem Heat, Brutus Beefcake, DiBiase, etc.

Obviously not this year, because he would headline his own class. Maybe even be the only inductee of the year to give him the due he deserves and to give him plenty of speech time.

Supreme Olajuwon 12-11-2019 07:11 PM

I assume Christian will go in on the night Randy Orton is the headliner. And he will get a nice 30 second spot while Randy gets a full hour.

It'll be when Evolution goes in. They'll go in before Randy. Christian will go in with Edge as the tag team.

Ric Flair 3x HOF lol

Bad News Gertner 12-12-2019 01:16 AM

Well if they let in KoKo B Ware, they might as well let in Christian

LibSuperstar 12-12-2019 04:22 AM

It's only a matter of time when Christian gets inducted. We all know it's mainly based around where WrestleMania is being held.

Probably happen in the 3 years.

Evil Vito 12-13-2019 08:55 AM

Seeing it rumored in a few places that Tony Garea might go in this year. Wouldn't be a headline grabber by any means, and honestly I'm surprised he wasn't inducted in the early days when the Hall was much more of a "thank you for your service" to long-term backstage employees.

Part of me wonders if it's part of a strategy towards acknowledging Australia/New Zealand as an area of interest prior to an eventual NXT: Australia launch.

Bad News Gertner 12-13-2019 07:04 PM

His accomplishments alone should have gotten him in a long time ago. First 5 time tag champ in the history of the company.

Probably since they've already done the same for Japanese wrestlers by giving them a legacy spot for the past few years in a row and NXT Japan seems to be their next branch.
