 at Smackdown starting off with a wrestling match.

slik 01-24-2020 08:12 PM

no pyro for SD either

Emperor Smeat 01-24-2020 08:24 PM

The pacing of this match has been a bit bad.

Not soo much because its been really slow or anything being off but because the first 10 minutes or so was completely meaningless and the commercial breaks hurting its flow.

Emperor Smeat 01-24-2020 08:33 PM

Six-man tag match ended up being pretty good overall despite it dragging on way too long.

slik 01-24-2020 08:44 PM

Turned on SD

Why is Lacey Evans cutting a promo while crying

about bullies

Will they ever learn no one wants to see crying in wrestling

Emperor Smeat 01-24-2020 08:46 PM

Lacey's tearful promo felt way too forced or fake compared to how she was being portrayed during her feud with Sasha and Bayley.

Everything about it felt like Vince and/or SD creative suddenly decided to change the direction of her character.

That might be the shortest match ever.

Emperor Smeat 01-24-2020 08:56 PM

Well that women's tag match was a waste of time but on the bright side at least WWE remembered to do a traditional go-home Rumble brawl despite it being way too brief.

1st hour was pretty forgettable overall.

Emperor Smeat 01-24-2020 09:12 PM

Elias & Strowman vs. Cesaro & Nakamura was pretty good overall.

Emperor Smeat 01-24-2020 09:24 PM

Kayla Braxton looked like she wanted to slug Corbin after he insulted her question.

Emperor Smeat 01-24-2020 09:46 PM

Kofi vs. Morrison match was pretty good overall. The one Morrison had against Big E last week was better though.

 at Morrison beating both of Smackdown's tag champs single handily.

Only 3 open spots left in the men’s Rumble and everyone expects Cain Velasquez to be one of them.

Emperor Smeat 01-24-2020 09:57 PM

Nice of The Fiend to channel his inner MJF with those belt lashes to Bryan. Might have even been exactly 10 lashes like MJF wants to do to Cody.

Contract signing segment was decent.

Smackdown felt a bit weird tonight since as a regular episode, it was pretty decent to good but as a go-home Rumble show, it somewhat stunk. Only the contract signing segment felt go-home show worthy.

Evil Vito 01-24-2020 09:58 PM

Roman being on Backstage on Tuesday = even more obvious that he’s winning the Runble

slik 01-24-2020 10:03 PM

Since this is a very Vince booked show I guess this means DBry is beating the Fiend at the RR

If the rumors of Kane being in the match ends up being true, WWE dropped the ball in regards to surprise entrants for this year's Men's Rumble.

Would leave just 1 spot for NXT, NXT UK, and any other outside surprise entrant besides Kane.

At least the Women's Rumble has a ton of open spots left for surprises from the main roster, NXT brands, and any former stars.
