Top 2 favorite wrestlers of all time

A very simple thread, you just name your top 2 favorite wrestlers of all time.

ozzman6669 07-08-2020 10:04 PM

Shawn Michaels and Taker

Curtis 07-08-2020 10:10 PM

1. The Undertaker
2. Stone Cold

Ol Dirty Dastard 07-08-2020 10:12 PM

Bret Hart and Randy Savage

Uppers and downers, I like that. If you're falling asleep during Bret's match, Randy's incoherent high energy promo will wake you up like a shot of cocaine mixed in a can of monster taken after math class.

Bad News Gertner 07-08-2020 10:20 PM

1. JBL
2. Magnificent Muraco

Jordan 07-08-2020 10:38 PM

I think I'd go... with Bret Hart because I love his matches there are so many great ones from a great time in WWF in my childhood. And I'd have to say Mick Foley. I watch a lot of old wrestling and anytime Mick Foley is on screen I watch it. He was a magnetic in all ways and his matches were always pretty awesome.

Jordan 07-08-2020 10:39 PM

I wanted to say Buddy Rogers but it's ridiculous because I haven't seen more than a dozen or so of his matches probably. But the ones I've seen he was as good as Bret in a lot of ways and his character was almost as big as Austin's.

slik 07-08-2020 10:40 PM

Macho Man
Undertaker
Shawn Michaels
HBK
Bret Hart

Evil Vito 07-08-2020 10:40 PM

Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle

Maluco 07-08-2020 11:06 PM

Bret Hart...because of his matches and how real he made it look and feel.

Shawn Michaels...because of the drama and story he brought to big matches. Loved his whole turn and growth as HBK too.

The fact that both guys were in great teams before having stellar singles careers just adds to it.

Lock Jaw 07-08-2020 11:20 PM

Slik can count good.

I will say....

Chris Jericho and Christian.

As much as I love Christian, I realize there are a lot of people better than him... but he just has a lot of sentimental value for me, and following his whole career.

Mr. Nerfect 07-08-2020 11:53 PM

This is so hard, because it really does change for me depending my mood. Right now, I've got to probably say Cody Rhodes and Kurt Angle. But I've been digging the shit out of Bret Hart and Barry Windham lately.

I think my underrated non-main event guy of all-time is Jimmy Del Ray.

Lock Jaw 07-09-2020 12:03 AM

I thought Noid disliked Cody Rhodes...

Kevin Nash and Tazz.

Picking just two is hard.

Chris Jericho being one of the two is a no brainier for me but after that, way too many to choose from to stick with as a pick. I'll go with Stone Cold Steve Austin as the second pick for now.

Someone edited my post because they're an insecure cunt.

Damian Rey 2.0 07-09-2020 01:31 AM

Bret because I enjoyed how crisp everything he did was and he sold like a mother fucker.

The Rock because he was the baddest cat in the land and everything I could've dreamed of being when I was in middle school.

Fignuts 07-09-2020 01:37 AM

No fucking idea.

Probably someone that would make Dale angry.

Tom Guycott 07-09-2020 02:12 AM

Piper and Perfect.

Destor 07-09-2020 02:15 AM

Without putting any thought into whatsoever Flair and Hansen.

Been digging the fuck out of Stan Hansen lately too.

Seanny One Ball 07-09-2020 06:36 AM

D-Lo Brown
Bret Hart

Seanny One Ball 07-09-2020 06:36 AM

Ric Flair a close runner up

Ol Dirty Dastard 07-09-2020 07:58 AM

I want to know which mod edited Noid's post. That's fucking hilarious.

Evil Vito 07-09-2020 08:03 AM

Noid has praised Cody's work plenty of times, I've gotten the sense that his beef with Cody is with the way AEW is run, not necessarily Cody as a performer.

But yeah seeing him listed as one of his top two favorites ever made me do a double take and assume shenanigans.

I enjoyed Christian Kane on Angel

He surprisingly had awesome matches against Bob Backlund. His WWWF/WWF runs were awesome.

No joke I had to struggle not to say Nash.

Ol Dirty Dastard 07-09-2020 09:45 AM

It's the smark thing not to like Nash, but if you were born between 1986-1989ish, your fandom was fueled on Diesel power--at least a little bit.

No doubt about that. From Diesel to the Wolfpac I saw him as a huge star in the 90's. I began to roll my eyes at WCW a lot starting in 98 and he was apart of that especially when he was the on screen authority figure, and I gather that's when he was also the booker as well. Still love his WWF matches especially though.

Ol Dirty Dastard 07-09-2020 09:53 AM

Yeah by about 1999, WCW stopped making any sense. 1998 was rough but there was that semblance of coherence.

Even as a youngster I got sick of people turning good/bad on a dime. My biggest disappointment was Bret turning heel the first time in WCW...just made him into "another guy." I was only about 11 years old, and I could tell something wasn't "right."

Jordan 07-09-2020 09:57 AM

Yeah when Bret came in it didn't take long to think something weird was going on at WCW. Because I was a kid and a mark I didn't ever think that it was "bad" but it didn't take long for that to happen. It was around Uncensored 98 for me, the previous months PPV's sucked, really bad and I believe it was this PPV that had some really ridiculous main event tag match with like 4 different teams of 3 or 4 and it was a total mess, and I think it was for the tag titles too. That's when I was like "wow, WCW sucks, when is Jericho going to go to WWF".

Was just about to watch a Hansen vs. Backlund match on YouTube.

Rammsteinmad 07-09-2020 12:25 PM

Chris Jericho and CM Punk.

Seanny One Ball 07-09-2020 01:20 PM

D-Lo should have more love
