The more I read his statement, the more one thing sticks out to me. He says that it was his first time making someone disappear in a way that seems like he's indicating that he has done it more than once.

It doesn’t even make any sense. He didn’t tell his brother Geno because Geno would have killed the guy. The guy that Marty kills a paragraph later.

Someone on reddit did some digging and found that there were no reported missing persons cases in that area around that time. So either the whole story is bullshit or it was ruled as self defense since the guy was trying to rape him.
