That's a shame since he was their best commentator in years even if his commentary style can be very divisive.
Nobody else in WWE commentary manages to bring the passion to shows like Mauro could for NXT and TakeOvers. He helped make those shows feel even more special to watch. |

I liked that he was actually excited calling the action, buthis pop culture references always seemed so forced.

According to the Observer, Mauro's departure was due to him just wanting a less stressful work schedule and also wanting to remain close to his ill mom.
