NXT got 2 hours all to themselves for tonight's battle of the Wednesday Rasslin Wars although also bearing the brunt of NBA's Opening Day onslaught.

They are trying to injure Drake Maverick.

Yikes at Burch landing right on his head from that overhead suplex by Killian Dain.

:lol: Burch and Oney got nailed in the nuts.

This Street Fight is a bit of a mess though in terms of quality or flow.

:lol: at Drake Maverick getting a low blow in return.

NXT Tag title match ended up being pretty good but could have shaved off like half of its time and it would have been a ton better.

That "A Very Gargano Christmas" segment was pretty boring.

Then again haven't really liked any of this on-going Gargano Family storyline stuff.

The Poison Rana counter by Isiah Scott was pretty cool.

Scott vs. Jake Atlas match was decent at best.

Guess Triple H is hoping this time everyone forgot about Velveteen Dream's accusations since he's back on tv again.

Also that closing promo by Adam Cole was like main roster written style bad.

Bit surprised Rhea vs. Dakota is happening right now.

Also that means NXT blew right through almost everything announced prior to the show in the first hour. Only thing announced that didn't happen or start was the Bronson Reed in action stuff.

How is an Inverted Cloverleaf supposed to be painful?

That's probably the one submission move that doesn't really make sense based on the way Rhea does it.

Rhea vs. Dakota was very good though.

Toni Storm looks very cute in her Nazi hat

Bronson Reed has the coolest looking entrance tron in all of WWE currently.

Reed's attire also giving off Natural Disasters vibes.

Guess NXT finally remembered Mercedes Martinez ditched being in Retribution a while ago since she's back on NXT TV again.

These Gargano Family Christmas segments stunk.

:lol: at Leon Ruff beating Timothy Thatcher after getting his ass kicked for almost the whole match.

Ruff's big prize is even more beating by Thatcher after the match.

Thatcher vs. Ciampa in a Fight Pit match should be great when it happens. No clue why NXT did the announcement the way they did since neither Ruff nor Thatcher came out looking good from that whole match and post-match stuff.

Is he still as boring in 205 Live as the last time I watched a show from that brand like a year ago?

Edit: Answer to that question ended up being yes.

Dream vs. Cole was pretty good despite dragging way too much.

This week's episode was entertaining overall but also one of NXT's weaker shows of the year. Only really interesting stuff was the Ripley vs. Dakota match and post-match brawl stuff with Raquel Gonzalez.

Are you guys ready for a 2nd NXT show, NXT India (Khali) and NXT Lucha/Mexico (Chavo)?

That’d be a 3rd NXT show.

Is there two NXT shows now?

Yeah, NXT and NXT UK.

Within a year or two that could end up being 5 depending on when WWE's Lucha and WWE's new US minor league feeder for NXT launches. Maybe even 6 depending when WWE resumes their NXT Japan plans.
