Just saw this today. Wow pretty fucked up movie.

It's from 1932, from the director of the original Dracula.

Basically, it's a movie about sideshow freaks. A dwarf from the side show falls in love with the trapeze artist despite the fact that she makes fun of him behind his back. She and her boyfriend plan on her marrying the dwarf because he will be inheriting a fortune, to take his money, then kill him. When the other "freaks" find out about this, they decide to take revenge.

I dunno this movie is weird. I'd say it was way ahead of its time for a 1932 flick. It was also apparently banned in the UK for over 30 years, for some reason.

Probably really hard to find. I found it at the library, but check it out if you can.

The lead actor (the dwarf) rules so much. He looks like a 1 year old who can walk and talk. It's creepy. You fall in love with him and stuff cause he is so adorable. :love:

I am still thinking about this movie like every day since I've seen it. That is a good sign that the movie rules. :love:

They are releasing it on DVD some time in August. Definitely gonna buy that shit. :love:

It's really shitty quality, probably. The copy I got, I could barely understand what was going on, especially at the end. That's why I'm gonna get the DVD.

Just watched this. WOw wtf. Good movie. The DVD has a pretty sweet documentary on the making of the film, casting everybody etc.
