Who debuts in the battle royal?

Also I am excited to see how they make Stadium Stampede interactive for the fans in attendance. I have a vision of them allowing the fans to all get up and go to the stadium or something crazy.

My money would be on Andrade but we'll see.

Part of me irrationally hopes for Bryan but I still fully expect he'll eventually re-sign with WWE. Also something as big as a Bryan debut would probably be best served closing the show staring down Kenny. And since the Stampede is likely main eventing (especially if they're gonna have the fans leave Daily's and walk in there) I don't think that's happening either.

I know the super hard promotional push for Revolution really backfired with the lackluster debut and dud explosion, but doesn't it feel like they have barely promoted Double or Nothing?

This card feels awfully like a throw together B Level PPV, not their flagship PPV. (I am not actually sure if DON or All Out is their version of Mania, but at the very least this should be their version of Summerslam, not their version on Night of Champions or Bragging Rights)

Has it been 90 days yet? Samoa Joe would be my pick if so.

Options for a debut could be Danielson, Joe, Andrade... One I thought of is Big Show. He is doing commentary all match then his new music hits WWEELLLLLLL WELL ITS PAULLLL WIIIIIIGHT!

Yeah I've thought maybe Wight on commentary is a red herring for him actually entering. Kinda wonder if it'd backfire with a full audience though who might've been expecting "more"

All that said it's a battle royal so I'm sure he'd let Powerhouse Hobbs or somebody look real good by chucking him out

When WWE puts established stars they’ve just signed in Battle Royals, it sucks, but AEW is so smart they make it so different. Cannot wait to see Christian Cage add PRESTIGE to a Battle Royal. Take note, WWE!

Cody Rhodes’ promos are so good they bring a tear to my eye. He’s certainly captured the spirit of his father. Anthony Ogogo is a future mega-star waiting to happen. His Peaky Blinders music and gut punch as a finisher are just bad-ass. Usually I hate it when the WWE brings in a British boxing champion, but AEW made this so different by sending Ogogo to wrestling school with QT Marshall for a long time.

Serena Deeb vs. Riho should be a modern women’s classic that puts the WWE and their bull-dinky “Women’s Revolution” to shame.

Speaking of women’s action: has their been a better built-up women’s feud than Britt Baker and Hikaru Shida? Lol, WWE tried jamming Asuka down our throats, but I’m glad AEW gave us a real joshi warrior in Shida. Pretty sure it’s time for Britt Baker to take the belt though. She’s like Charlotte Flair but with more personality and she doesn’t win all the time.

Tag team wrestling actually matters in AEW! Where else are you going to see two guys that have just been in the main event scene team together after just feuding? I have no clue who is going to win out of The Young Bucks and Moxingston, but it should be INSANE!

Speaking of tag team action: Sting in 2021. STING! This is going to kick so much ass. I mean, I wasn’t so much of a Sting fan in later days WCW or TNA or the WWE, but it’s so cool that AEW are letting him actually wrestle, as opposed to the shitty WWE who wouldn’t let him go out there. Something about his neck or something. It doesn’t matter if Sting doesn’t even do anything — this will be awesome!

This is how genius AEW is: They brought in Miro as a funny guy. He wore silly clothes, got upset about silly things, but NOW he is focused. And he looks amazing. And NO ONE saw it coming. Well, unless you watched WWE, but we don’t count there. He and Lance Archer are going to tear the house down. Lol at Davey Boy Smith, Jr. probably going to the WWE. I think AEW got the better half of The Killer Elite Squad.

Adam Page has been handled so well by AEW. Everyone thought he was going to be in-line for the AEW Title (the true World Title in professional wrestling), but AEW saw that coming and have put him on the cooler so that no one will see his eventual rise coming. Genius. You can’t be too predictable. When WWE cools hot acts, you just know it is because of bad booking. He and Brian Cage should get all their shit in and tear the house down. The future of wrestling here. Just a shame this isn’t for the FTW Title.

The main event is going to be AWESOME! When was the last time we saw a Triple Threat in the main event of a PPV for the World Title?! And we’re getting PAC, who the WWE misused by only building two shows around him, and Orange Cassidy, who WWE never would have hired because they take themselves so seriously because they are stuck in the past. The closest we would have gotten to this is if Roman Reigns (the Kenny Omega/Don Callis rip-off act) vs. Finn Balor vs. Santino Marella. Lol, imagine how they would fuck that up. Omega is the best wrestler in the world, so I cannot wait to see how he not only makes this match a classic, but the whole card better.

Double or Nothing should really be called Triple or Nothing, because it’s going to be the best PPV of 2021 no doubt.

Casino Battle Royal are timed entrances in groups or "Suits".

The rules for Casino Battle Royale are a little different

Starts with 5 wrestlers and then every 3 minutes another 5 wrestlers enter the battle royal. The "Lucky 21" entrant gets to enter last by himself.

It’s somewhere between the Royal Rumble and Reverse Battle Royal as a concept. Probably just underneath the Andre Battle Royal and World War 3.

Ogogo should absolutely go over. I’ll give credit to Cody for putting over MJF when needed, but he also put himself over Archer and Brody when I felt him losing was the better decision, so we’ll see. But he could absolutely lose and put the kid over.

Remember when all this bullshit was excused by people because it was happening during a pandemic. Now the Stadium Stampede is going to be in front of people. It was a slippery slope that a bunch of people clapped for like trained seals because “they’re new,” “give them a chance,” “it will get better.”

Bullshit. It has gotten worse. It has run people off. It is mocked mercilessly by people who stumble across it, whether they be general wrestling fans or not. This is the alternative to WWE — something that is ironically worse in certain ways.

It’s like an ironic wish from a genie: “Give me other wrestling to watch. Please, just ANY other wrestling!” The genie smirks. “Haha...as you wish...”

The people who defend this as good universally fall into one of two categories: they’re either hardcore sycophants that have been beaten by consuming WWE so much that they will just take the Meltzer route and praise anything they do because they’ve fit them into a babyface paradigm against the evil WWE, OR they are the sort of mouth-breathers you’d see at Nitro Parties in the 90’s. The smarter category knows deep-down this is bad television — dropped storylines, inconsistencies, no internal logic, no build, bad sound, bad production, ugly stars (for the most part). They’ve read employees of the company stooge themselves out as having NO idea of what they’re doing or having NO plans for the future. They can smell rickety death coming from this sinking ship in terms of it being any sort of viable alternative capable of influencing pro-wrestling more than Impact fucking Wrestling. So they resort to “you don’t even watch, lol” or “it’s how you make your point” and embarrass themselves like a fucking screech.

Yo, people not watching and not having time for this shit is part of the problem, ya dumb fucks. And it’s your fault for not telling them they’re not good when they so clearly think they are.
