LOL So BL3 and The Handsome Collection both received updates and I was quite confused. Then I started up BL2 and I shit you not, There's a full screen pre-order page for Wonderlands as well as a banner à la BL3 pre-order stuff on the main menu LMFAO.

Beyond stoked for this.

If I got this, I'd probably roll out as a Spellshot. Although I'd reconsider if the Spore Warden can sling that hat around Kung Lao style. That'd be cool.

Well, the reviews are positive. But they're also not afraid to call it what it is. A re-skinned Borderlands game.

Just a heads-up that there's a nasty glitch that can corrupt save files and costs unfortunate players hours of progress. This is across all platforms and while there does appear to be a solution from Gearbox for PC, it appears there's no hot fix for PS4/5 or XBSS/XBSX versions as yet.

Running the Chaos Chamber (endgame, have to be level 40) and doing the Chaos Trials is something else. Somehow I've so far managed to get through 2 -- out of 20. UGH.

Finished this.

A for effort. Like a C- for execution. Probably could have sat on this for a while until Covid blew over and perhaps make it better. A lot of that Borderlands charm is missing. Maybe the DLC entries will greatly improve this.

I guess I'm doing the Chaos Chamber until I get tired of it. I cleared all the worlds and tracked down everything 100%.

I don't think there's a massive difference either way. I play on PS4 because it's what I've got, but I suspect your experience may be marginally better on a current-gen console (good luck if you're still trying to find a PS5, though LMAO) or PC.

Shit...now that I'm home I remembered the Chaotic Great Edition I got means I automatically get Coiled Captors. Still not gonna play that though.

Well, I hit level 20 in the Chaos Chamber. Now all I gotta do is find someone to do the money trick with and I can unlock all my inventory slots and platinum this game.

TBF, the inventory slots all being purchased is the one trophy keeping people from getting the platinum, and there's not a ton of great ways to easily farm money. I mean, who wants to spend all day loading into Overworld and opening all the chests, save/quitting and repeating that process?

There's 13 slots for all weapons, the backpack, etc and there's at least 10 different categories you have to max (sniper rifle, pistol, SMG, assault rifle, grenades, backpack, etc.) The first ones in each category are relatively cheap, but then they roughly triple until the price of the next upgrade is $1-$2M in-game. It literally takes billions of in-game dollars, maybe even tens of billions to get them all. Gearbox knew exactly what they were doing to trophy hunters by including that trophy. It would've been fine had they just stopped at the max out any SDU, but nooooo.
