TV Show Moments

Just a place to post moments from TV shows that come to your mind. The use of spoiler tags will be up to your discretion.

Ross and Rachel getting together the first time on Friends.

The hoopla surrounding Seinfeld's final episode.

Scully getting abducted on The X-Files.

I'm sure I'll think of more.

M*A*S*H. I guess Maclean Stevenson's exit & the finale are 2 big moments.

That one time B.A. Baracus said that he pities the fool.

When American Idol got taken off the air it was like 4 simultaneous orgasms.

You can imagine the disappointment when it came back. :nono:

The Phoenix Saga on the Animated XMen from the 90's. Nothing had me glued to the TV like that entire thing. Think it ended up being 2 weeks long (10 episodes). Some nerd who is nerdier than me will correct me.

Became mildly obsessed with UFO documentaries in the 90's too. Had a VHS tape I drew an alien head on and wrote my name on it. Anytime anything related to aliens or UFO's came on, I would record it.

Young me didn't know the difference between SLP and SP on tapes, so I was upset when I was barely able to record 3 hours :(

The Phoenix Saga was 5 parts. The Dark Phoenix Saga was only 4.

Alien Autopsy was peak UFO craze.

Phoenix Saga was awesome.

I'll never forget in Season 4 of 24 when Jack and Audrey are at the business trying to find information on who kidnapped them and they are attacked by more terrorists only to be saved by Tony Almeida. Was a huge markout moment.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Realistically, any of their big 3 part or more episode arcs. The Green Power Ranger 5 parter was awesome because as a kid and not really understanding how TV series worked at that point, I really did think it was the end of them.

Was gonna say the Green Ranger arc after drave mentioned X-Men.... I remember being hooked, waking up early so we could watch Power Rangers.

Also remember when Lord Zedd debuted and he seemed so badass and the "Z-Putties" he sent seemed unstoppable.... until the Rangers figured out if they punch the giant Z on their chest they explode.

Random TV Moment: When The Mask had a crossover with Ace Ventura

Yeah this too. I was in 6th grade when Power Rangers was at it's peak and it caused me to fail both math and social studies. I would purposely lie about having homework just to watch the show.

That resulted in me being forced (by a parent) to bring both books home every night and go through an entire chapter by myself. This is, I think, when I really started teaching myself everything, as my parents were too dumb to understand the math I was doing. One of my older brothers was running the streets with gangs at this time and the other just didn't give a shit.
