There’s a big part of me that wants to order this show. I’m trying to will myself to actually do it. Another part of my brain is telling me to skip it and see if it’s good.

There’s no obvious bullshit here. I want to support that vision for Tony Khan Promotions. But…ugh. I just know it’s going to either break my heart or underwhelm me.

There wasn’t really a story behind Claudio and Gresham, but you could have done hype videos about who they are and what makes them unique. Could have had Regal, Danielson, Punk, Lethal, etc. talking about them.
Glad Claudio won. Got nothing against Gresham. He seems to take himself seriously and is talented. I think his size can actually be a thing to explain how he grew up fighting and trying to prove he can make his weaknesses his strengths. It’s not just there for a World Champion. There are so many other useful slots for the guy. |

Wheeler Yuta going over is the right decision, even if I like Garcia a little more. Yuta has got a long way to go, but hopefully the Pure Division keeps him thinking about match psychology instead of high spots without context.

Tag Team Titles main eventing is probably the right call.

Almost every match is a title match. That might be a signal that they have too many.

You really don’t need Six-Man belts. I question the point of their TV Title too. I can kind of see the value in the Pure, but it’s not really necessary. Could have just done pure rules matches for a while.

Show looks very AEW in aesthetic. I don’t HATE it, but it doesn’t look like ROH to me. I don’t know.
