All 13 PPV matches that were for the World Heavyweight Title had him in them, as mentioned above. The only 2 PPVs without the title on the line were New Year's Revolution & No Way Out.

But, is it true to you guys here that maybe Bats was given too much screen time on PPV that year? Just want to know what you all think.

I think he gets away with it because the vast majority of those matches were on the undercard. It’s only in the last 3 shows of the year that the WHC was elevated to the actual main event. I think if he tops the card 13 times that year then he’d have received more negative feedback for it. As it stood, Cena and the WWE Championship was the A1 position on the card, and while that was the case Cena took the shit.

Besides Edge and Undertaker, who else was worth a damn for the main event?

I was looking at Batista’s championships on Wikipedia. He was only WWE Champion twice. He was mainly a World Heavyweight Title guy, but still. He also had the Feud of the Year in 2005 and 2007 but was the most overrated wrestler of 2006 according to the Observer Awards.

Feel like Lance Cade's performance could be a little flat too.
