Apparently it was a car accident in Delaware.

I missed it but I just heard that they acknowledged Jay Briscoes passing on NXT tonight.
Second adult was killed in the crash and there's a child in critical and another adult in serious condition. Sounds really bad. 4 people trapped in the vehicle(s) and fire was involved. Fuck. |

Just saw a report saying that the other death was the other driver and the 2 injuries are Jays daughters who he was taking to cheer practice. One of them has significant injuries and is expected to survive, but the other is in critical in the trauma ward.

goddammit. that same thing happened to me about a decade ago, but obviously i got lucky that day. what an awful thing to happen to him, and the fact that his daughters were in the truck makes it so much more heartbreaking.

I've read the daughter who was in surgery has started regaining feeling in her lower extremeties. So thats at least some small comfort.
