Fuck August, 2023.

I started watching NXT when he was on the way out already, but I remember catching him in NXT, seeing him in the ring cutting a promo and it was like he had "so much energy that the ring could barely contain him". Those were my thoughts at the time, and I was like "whoa, this guy is gonna be huge if they let him".

Unfortunately they never quite let him be as huge as he could have been, but there are many fond memories and moments.

This is fucking horrible. Way, WAY too young.

This is so reminiscent of how I felt with Brodie's passing coming seemingly out of nowhere. WTF is all I keep thinking.

Yeah this is weirdly similar to Brodie. Working one day, out the next, find out he's been sick, then he's gone.

Mad depressed rn. Bray was my favorite by a lot. Don't want to believe this is real.

Was he still on TV? I only watched Mania this year and don't think he was on.

He left shortly before Mania. Was supposedly creative differences at first, then later out came out it was actually a preventative health issue.

Last rumors were that he did have a life threatening thing happening but that he’s gotten through it and was just recuperating.

Who fucking knows now. I’m sure his family will put it out there eventually. But man this is so tragic.

Really don’t know what to say.

He is one of the reasons I got back into wrestling. I’m gutted, I looked forward to what he would do next - I would try and guess what would happen. I was only hoping the other day that the arena was going to go black at the end of Summerslam and he would appear. Now we know why his loved ones got so angry at rumours being spread that he was coming back soon.

Wow thats crazy out of the blue. I wasn't a big fan of the character but everyone seemed to say the guy was top notch.

This is heartbreaking.

Have to admit for a millisecond I thought “what if it’s a work to setup a comeback”, wrestling makes you think some weird stuff.

I was fascinated with what he was going to do next, where the story was going, there’s not many guys that make me think that nowadays. Now the story will be left untold.

His 4 kids left without a dad at such young ages, it’s difficult to comprehend.

RIP Windham “Bray Wyatt” Rotunda.

Bro, same. My teenage son actually cried because he was such a huge inspiration and the main reason he's so into horror. He has signed merch from him and all. He was a mess last night. We all thought it was bullshit at first because he's always looking up "rumors" and stuff.... then I searched and yeah.




Doesn't seem real man.

Pretty jarring death. Very young with a young family. Eerie how two of the original three Wyatt Family members are gone.
