LOL FTR lost the titles on the other show. Kinda anticlimatic way to end their run. Wonder if Hair is about to be in trouble with the fuzz for pullin the strap on a buster?
Nice pop for LA Knight. Dude is over af.
YEAH
Could see a cash in for MITB tonight since it would be unexpected
Crowd completely flat for this.
lol don't know why you feel the need to lie about that but ok
Probably cause Rollins is super cringe.
Garbage.
Had no idea there was a PPV today.... I don't watch the shows, but normally I absorb through here, YouTube, news etc that there is a PPV.....
Cody and Jey at the press conference after a few adult beverages is hilarious

I had to tap out on Fastlane. So fucking boring. 15 mins before the bell of the opener rang. Felt like a drill. The crowd was fucking weird. No one seems genuinely excited, it’s all this forced and fabricated enthusiasm for sing-along spots. Hate the spot where Carlito just runs in at the end of the match. He’s looking staunch as shit though.
Don’t get me started on the horrible comedy and ad spots. It’s still better than AEW and makes more sense, but I just had to tap out during the entrances for the women’s match. |
I legitimately enjoyed No Mercy. This was the shits though.
The whole Carlito thing was odd. It was clear he was the mystery man but why wait for until the end of the match for him to arrive? Is it that having the fresh man gives Lashley/Profits an out for losing? It feels like they booked themselves into a corner here where they couldn’t have a re-debuting Carlito on the loosing end but really should have booked Lashley/Profits to win to establish them as a new group.
Could just as easily had it been Santos/Del Toro/Wilde with Rey in their corner lose the match and take a beat down and had Carlito come if for the save. No US champ on the losing side, no loss for the new faction, no loss for the guy coming in. |
Lots of close ups of Cena giving instructions, Heyman giving play by play to Roman (who doesnt have TV) and the random prolonged break down at the end took me out of that match. On a positive, happy Cena is back and that everything in WWE feels bigger. PPV just a speed bump on the way to better PPVs.

It's all just filler until Rumble/Mania time.

Can think of Bash at the Beach ‘96. 5 other examples? |
decent enough PLE
cody/jey winning the tag titles is weird. happy for them (and they were v funny at the post-event press conference thanks to the "one or two libations" they had on the way over) but like. there's a whole tag division of teams who are twiddling their thumbs so that two singles main eventers can hold the belts which i guess you could kind of argue for the judgment day too, but at least they're more of a tag team than jey and cody dunno, if cody goes to smackdown maybe they'll separate the belts again and the shows' tag teams will have something to do other than fill airtime LWO vs street profits match was... fine, good to see carlito again though triple threat was a good match, nice to see charlotte take a pinfall, some good spots cena/knight vs bloodline was also pretty good. it did what it set out to do, which was beat up john cena a bunch to have the place erupt for the tag when knight finally came into play, dominated the ring, did his bits, got the pin and walked away looking bigger than ever that leap up to the top rope is damn impressive but every time i am worried he's not gonna clear it lmao anyway, i remain an unapologetic mark for him and hope a US title or higher is on the cards soon seth vs shinsuke was a great match but a terrible booking decision what was the point of the rematch and having nakamura dominate the entire thing only to lose to one table spot after throwing everything at rollins this actually feels like a worse outcome than shin winning and immediately getting cashed in by priest i am just so bored of seth rollins, idk unless they're planning a third match at crown jewel or something, feels like that's it for shin's title hopes, right? match itself was rly good though. feels like the table was not meant to break when shin pushed seth off the ladder; that looked like a spot that had to be abandoned for sure anyway, solid but not particularly memorable event i guess |

You know it happens. Stop trying a “gotcha” just because this shit isn’t memorable for its specifics. Oh, and you can open it up to include things like Brock Lesnar just waltzing down to be included in Money in the Bank too. Same principle of someone just joining something late because wrestling. |
No “gotcha”, just genuinely can’t recall too many (given the decades of history).
