Im on world 3. Really enjoying it. Its nice to have a 2-D mario game that takes level design seriously. I think its been since the snes since they had this much quality.

World 2 here. I mean, I've enjoyed the 2-D Wii U/Switch games but this feels perdy special...sucks, no Rosalina playable...yet...?

Honestly, the only main line Mario game I can't stand is Sunshine.

My nephew was originally unsure of getting the game himself and was just going to borrow my copy to play but he got sold on wanting his own copy instead just because of the singing piranha plants scene from the second level.

I showed my parents the same scene i recorded as a clip and they decided to buy the game on the spot for my nephew as an early Christmas present.

I really want to get this but I don't know if I can budget for a 2D Mario game right now. How is local co-op? Maybe I'll get it for my niece and then I can justify playing it more myself...

So...i basically no life'd this. I couldnt put it down. I 99.99999% completed it but as much as i pove platformers i wont vlbe doing that very last special mission. Got to the final portion and the ask crosses into stupid.

game has a challenge where you use every badge in one stage. No worries i guess. There's only one thats unfun to use. Well they save it for last.

The invisibility badge where the challange is you cant see yourself...oh joy. If there was a check point immediately before id probably grind it out but with the long section before it its just not worth the time it takes to get back there only to have to guess and fail. Not for me.

Only thing i would call bad level design and its deliberately bullshit so fair enough. I have zero interest in the bragging rights though. I did everything that was fun to do. Good enough for me.

Eh, it's a good game. I hope it isn't the newest 2d'ish Mario 5 years from now on Switch 3 or whatever.

Started playing this. Just finished world 3 and the game is a blast to play. I am doing a 100% playthrough (flags/purple coins/seeds). Nothing to challenging but the enjoyment is 100% there. Love great Mario games.

Yeah, I played a demo of this just yesterday and I didn't want it to end. I need to pick this up down the road, but I'm already dealing with a backlog as it is. :o
