***RATE THE GAME: WEEK 200! THE GRAND FINALE!!!***
And so, we've reached our epic conclusion, ladies and gentlemen. What began as a small-time side project almost 20 years ago has reached its end, appropriately enough as we close out 2024 and are now on the cusp of a new year. It is now time for the 200th game and bring this series to a close. Are we going out with a bang or a whimper? Hard to say, but I imagine you'll let me know with your opinions and comments as always. We've had highs and lows and mediocrity in between. Now I ask you to do it one more time.
First things first, last week's Street Fighter 3 qualified for a spot on our leaderboard. The number 3 was apropos as this fighting game staple earned itself an average 3.0 score amongst our pugilist aficionados here on TPWW. Don't fret about the absence of the leaderboard, as I plan to present the completed list in our wrap up edition that will be coming next week, once this edition is over and done.
Speaking of which, let's not put off the inevitable any longer. Bowl, for the last time, we ask of you, what do you have for us?

There we go. Hopefully, that wasn't anti-climactic. I'm sure there was a game that you had in mind that you hoped would be the final game, but I can't please everyone, sadly. But maybe this game pleased you? Maybe it really, really pleased you. Maybe it should be the new number one game? That would be something. That would be epic. It would be quite fitting as our 200th game is Epic's sequel to one of the Xbox's trademark titles. It's time for some more macho locker room talk and chainsaw guns and dead Carmine brothers. It's Gears of War 2! What's your take on this second entry in the long-running franchise? Was the series still finding its footing or did it continue its winning ways from the first entry? It's all in your hands now. Join me as we rate this game and say goodbye, not just to 2024, but to this series. Until next...oh, I guess that doesn't apply anymore. Well, let's hear your thoughts, regardless. Thanks again.
