**Rate the Music: Week 21**

Happy belated Canada Day! Just 2 days until America's birthday! That's all that matters, you know. OK, maybe not, but thank you for joining me in ringing in the new month of July with another edition of Rate the Music. Last week we had a taste of some old school 8-bit goodness coming out of Ninja Gaiden. Aside from PTSD, the game delivered a lot to us. How did Act 2 Part 2 fare in the grand scheme of things? Observe....

One-Winged Angel (Final Fantasy 7) - 8.71

6.66, huh? Well, it does feel like that game was made by Satan. Anyway, it's out of the running for the top ten and it looks like One-Winged Angel is going to continue to sit pretty at the top of the mountain. Can anything unseat it?

This week's tune is certainly going to give it the old college try. This month is all about some superhero antics, from Ironheart on Disney+ to James Gunn's Superman to Marvel's first family giving it one more go at the movies with Fantastic Four: The First Steps. Let's tackle some super audio to honor the occasion. Marvel has another top team in its ranks and they've had a roller coaster of a ride when it comes to games. This week, we look at Marvel's band of merry mutants in their smash action-RPG sequel to X-Men Legends. It's X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse giving us the final battle theme of the villain of the hour. Here's Apocalypse Battle....

A grand, epic fight against a grand, epic villain needs some grand, epic music. Does this fit that description? It's your call! Do that rating thing you do and we'll see you next week!

One of my absolute favorite games ever. But not particularly because of the OST. 6.

Never played the game before and only one of this type that comes to mind that I have played before was Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 on the Xbox 360.

As a super hero-based video game song, its decent but nothing special. Toss up between a 5 or 6 but went with a 5.
