I certainly hope so! As a face, Edge to me is just kinda boring/generic. He makes an AWESOME full-of-himself heel tho :D

Heel Edge V Benoit would make an excellent RAW PPV main-event! Way better than Kane V Benoit (IMO)

That's a pretty stupid thing to do right now.
I mean, not that he shouldn't ever be a heel or anything, but right now he's still pretty heavily over with the fans, lack of gimmick currently or not. |

I would love to see Edge return to the character that he had during the legendary days of Edge and Christian. I wouldn't turn him right now because I would like to see a fairly long feud between Kane and Benoit but considering what happened on Raw I expect Edge to turn heel quite soon.

I would rather Benoit blame Edge on costing them the tag titles after spearing him and turn heel, that would be far more entertaining and make more sense, Benoit can be used so much more as a heel as he's much better at it, IMO.

I dont know if they plan on doing an actual turn with him, I know they did it for one night in England when he was working Flair. But considering that he's supposed to face Benoit at Vengeance it would make sense to turn him.
Might be a decent idea to turn him, especially if Hunter is going to turn face in the near future. I like the idea of him hooking back up with Christian to form a stable (keep Tomko to be the goon and Trish to be the slut). However, it should be noted, if they do in fact turn Edge they should have kept him on SD, because a heel Edge vs Eddie would have been some really good stuff. But alas, that would have made sense. Edge-HHH, Edge-Benoit, and Edge-HBK would all be great matches. |
They won't turn him heel yet, because after he probably beats Orton for the I.C belt, he'll no doubt have some kind of fued with Christian, where maybe it would end up with Edge turning hell and forming with Christian and Trish which was mentioned above, and I like the idea of.

Edge isn't going to win the IC Belt. It wouldn't make sense, considering the main for Vengeance will be Benoit/Edge - and Shelton gets the shot at Bad Blood. He'd have to win it on RAW and WWE doesn't usually give title changes away.

On a RAW have Christian and Tomko and Trish come out and start braggin and Jericho come out and challenge them to a tag match and then he introduces his partner as Edge. And as they have done so many times in the past with wrestlers have Edge laid out backstage making this main event a handicap match when Jericho and Christian r down Edge comes out limping and gets ready for a spear, J.R. and King will be like EDGE IS GONNA SPEAR HIS BROTHER 4 EARLIER TONIGHT and WHAM nail Jericho and then Christian gets up and him and edge look at each other then hug while J.R. cusses and end with a 5 second pose
