1st true favourite wrestler

Just wondering who ppl's first EVER favourite wrestler was.
Like, the first time they ever watched wrestling, they thought, he's my favourite (and u may have hada soft spot 4 him ever since.)

Lex Luger.
He's a bit of a twat now, but boy did i used to like him

Doink 06-07-2004 02:55 PM

i was and still kinda a hulkamaniac, think he's past it now but back in the mid 80's when i frst saw him i was in awe of him, i know he's an easy option nut he was the man!

i always liked ultimate warrior, randy savage (oooo yeaaahhh - sorry couldnt resist), bret hart and HBK but am sick of HBK/HHH fued its tedious now.

Azriel 06-07-2004 03:02 PM

Hulk without a doubt.

Shaved Monkey 06-07-2004 03:13 PM

Hulk until Undertaker beat him at Survivor Series in '91. ('91 right?) Then I've been a Taker fan since then.

The One 06-07-2004 03:14 PM

Macho Man Randy Savage....OHHHHHHH YEAH!

And then I turned 5 and realised he wasn't all that cool :(

Fryza 06-07-2004 03:19 PM

First match I remember watching was a Raven vs. DDP match in '98. Raven's been my favorite wrestler since.

Blue Demon 06-07-2004 03:36 PM

Hogan was my first true fave...but Bret became my fave and still is...Flair is a close second.

The Lone Drinker 06-07-2004 03:38 PM

Hulk Hogan.

John la Rock 06-07-2004 03:41 PM

Bret Hart until The Rock turned heel and joined The Nation

Evil Vito 06-07-2004 03:42 PM

Goldberg. He was my first favorite when I started watching in late '98.

LK 06-07-2004 03:47 PM

Undertaker was my first favouritre. Taker was my favourite until Jericho came to the WWE and he has been my favourite from then to now.

The Show Off 06-07-2004 04:13 PM

My first favorite wrestler was a neck and neck tie between Sting and "Flyin'" Brian Pillman, they still remain my two favorite wrestlers of all time today... If I were forced to pick between the two of them I'd have to say that my favorite was "Flyin'" Brian Pillman for three major reasons...

1. Pillman was the reason I became a Cincinnati Bengals fan even though I live in New York, for those of you that don't know Pillman played breifly for the Bengals.

2. Pillman was able to play both sides, heel and face, extremely well where as Sting was a great face, but never a realistic heel.

3. Pillman was more of an underdog then Sting, and you gotta love the underdogs.

Volchok 06-07-2004 04:35 PM

Chris Jericho without a doubt... but HHH and HBK are tied at second...

Mr. JL 06-07-2004 04:39 PM

Bret Hart was my first favourite.

Now my favourites are Raven, Rob Van Dam & Low Ki

The Naitch 06-07-2004 04:47 PM

The Rock

Loose Cannon 06-07-2004 04:49 PM

Warrior was my first favorite. I loved the guy and the energy he brought with him everytime he went out there. He would demolish all his oponents. His music kicked ass to.

Xero 06-07-2004 04:51 PM

Hogan when he was in the nWo was my FIRST favorite... Still kinda am a Hogan fan...

My first WWE favorite was, and still is up there in the top 3, without a shadow of a doubt... Stone Cold... I am such a mark for Austin... OH HELL YEAH :D

Shaggy 06-07-2004 05:02 PM

Hogan had to be the first wrestler that I ever rooted for. I have a picture of me when I was a little kid where I got a little wrestling ring with a cage around it and some Hogan figures. Then I also got a Hogan Training set which came with a hulkamaniac head band and some fake weights to it. I also had the Hulk Hogan bear. I had posters and even a camera that when you took a picture it put a small one of Hulk posing in the bottom right hand corner. Damn Hogan is the man.

Ol Dirty Dastard 06-07-2004 05:05 PM

Bret was and always will be.

Rob 06-07-2004 05:18 PM

Tito Santana singles and The Rockers as a tag team.

Cactus Sid 06-07-2004 05:24 PM

Taker

Tornado 06-07-2004 05:26 PM

Shawn Michaels

Oxstar 06-07-2004 05:31 PM

Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior I can't choose between them.

The Ravishing One 06-07-2004 05:35 PM

Jake Roberts.

I was all like "shit, hes got a live snake down there!"

The Ravishing One 06-07-2004 05:36 PM

People would say that the snake was fake. it went from being a fake rubber snake, then people said it was a robot.

:wtf:

Innovator 06-07-2004 05:37 PM

Undertaker and Macho Man

HeartBreakMan2k 06-07-2004 06:15 PM

Shawn... obviously.

This was back when he was with the Rockers, their AWA match with Rose and Summers hooked me.

tucsonspeed6 06-07-2004 06:24 PM

Rocky

Mr. Nerfect 06-07-2004 06:25 PM

Kane. Kane, Stone Cold and Rikishi were the biggest three for people around my area. Kane was my pick.

PerfectOne 06-07-2004 06:29 PM

I started watching wrestling when I was about 10, and at the time my favorite wrestler was STING. This was the "surfer-dude" type sting, complete with the neon face, spiky blond hair, and the STINGER SPLASH!

Mayo 06-07-2004 07:45 PM

Hulkamania Brotherrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I even have a Hulk Hogan workout set, complete with wrestbands, headbands, skipping rope, and 5 lb. dumbells

Always has been and always will be Bret Hart.

Nowhere Man 06-07-2004 08:09 PM

Dean Malenko. Mainly because he was involved in the awesomeness that was the Jericho/Malenko feud. I marked out F-ing huge when he became a Horseman.

Joe Kerr 06-07-2004 08:17 PM

THink nearly anyone that watched wrestling in the 80's and grew up with it is gonna say hulk hogan,

So yup, hogan.

HardyStonerfan 06-08-2004 01:51 AM

Kevin Nash. My First fav was Definitly Kevin Nash. I was 13 I think, and the seriously only reason I got into Wrestling was to have something in common with my looser of a father. But, Kevin Nash definitly...Hogan...he scared me.

Peace,
