TAMPA TAKES STANLEY
HOLY CRAP
I was right all along  btw great way to end it 4 on 4 |
except it shouldnt have been charging on calgary :p anyways if calgary played the whole game like they did the last 10 minutes they would have won, gotta give probs to bullin on that save on Leopold though.
High sticking, charging, open wound automatic double minor... Yeah, it should've been a game misconduct at the end.
Yeah it could've been called quite a few things. It was pretty cheap.

Yeah Ference is a dip shit dumbass

Dam talk about a god dam entertaining last 10 minutes of game 7 :) Congrats to Tampa.
was I the only one who saw that St.Louis's own stick was the one that cut him :| if you carry the puck there shouldn't be a charging call
No it wasn't his own, I'm almost positive.
Yeah that Calgary PP goal shouldn't have happened either if you want to go into it all.
Bottom line, TAMPA BAY ARE THE CHAMPIONS WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BRAD RICHARDS  |
Yeah, getting interferance for getting hit by a guy you never saw coming.
Damn after being spoiled for two months with some of the best hockey on earth it's all over now, I miss it already :'(. great 3rd period minus the one or two bizzaro calls.
none of this should have happend sincce calgary scored in the third in the last game on saturday anyways
:shifty: :D!! |

TAMPA BAY ARE THE CHAMPIONSSSSSSSSSSSSS |
Mikka K. made some excellent saves tonight, but Khabibulin's big save made him the man tonight.

Khabibulin > Canada
:shifty: |
Yeah Khabibulin probably has terrets which helps him with his game as a goalie.
probably the most excited i've about a stanley cuy final in some time. calgary got robbed in game six with that non call goal but i suppose it's good to have a team like tampa win it.
I feel bad for Calgary, they were robbed in Game 6, goal should have counted, refs didn't do their jobs. Then tonight they get a lousy call in the last minute of the game.
Still, all credit goes to Tampa they played a great game, a great series, and I think in the end the fact that they won the Conference in the regular season gave them a real easy raod to the finals. I think in the end that was the difference, Calgary had to go through the top three teams in the West, Tampa only had to go through one decent team to get to the finals. Nice to see Andreychuck finally get a Cup, even though he should have had one here in 93 (he wasn't quick with the whistle back then, I guess he's learned from his mistakes), but better late than never. Both teams play exciting hockey, so its nice to see two fun teams in the finals, hopefully that changes how management builds teams in the future and the days of the Devils brand of hockey are behind us. Calgary has a bright futre, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them back in the finals in the next year or two. No more hockey...that suck, well at least we got the World Cup in a couple fo months: GO CANADA GO!!! |

Let's go Sweden

lol you know that disease where you twitch all the time and shout things out of random... Khabibulin is just a really intense goalie. :y:
I missed the last game I forgot it was on. Damn Tampa Bay, I wanted Calgary we don't need to be good at prissy Canadian sports.
when the camera zooms in on his mask, you can see him twitching and his right eye closes a bit and he snarls and stuff
I'm happy for Tampa. Only thing that pissed me off was Bettman talking out of his ass and saying that Tampa fans deserved the cup for supporting the team. Thats total bullshit
GO FLAMES GO
LOL |
IMO this was the perfect Stanley Cup finals. I'm not gonna lie, I didn't really care about hockey this year, even the playoffs, and usually I am a pretty big fan. But while the NHL marketing people look at this as a nightmare, I think its the perfect thing for hockey and the best possible matchup.
These finals were great because all of the old washed up guys on the powerhouse teams who already have won the Stanley Cup were out of it. There was no Joe Sakic, no Dominic Hasek, no old shit we have already seen before. There are two young teams playing fast paced hockey with some of the most exciting players in the sport (St. Louis, Lecavaillier, Igilna, Khabulin) on the ice who also happen to be hungary for their first cup, excited fans, hell even the colors looked good. I liked both teams a lot coming into this final, but in the end I am kind of glad that Tampa Bay came out the victors, frankly because I think that they are the better team. I have been a big St. Louis and Lecavailier fan for the past few years, and now this year they were finally the best, and I am glad that they were awarded it. Both of these teams are young and will be back again, and I think it is going to be great for hockey if the Colorado, Detroit, Dallas, St Louis, New Jersey, Philly, Toronto etc. is pushed aside by new young exciting teams like Columbus, San Jose, Minnesota, Atlanta, Nashville, etc. |
I don't follow hockey but anytime the US beats Canada in something, I'm happy. :D

dump and chase dump and chase dump and chase... that's all tampa did last night and calgary couldn't get around it. it was getting annoying :D
Annoying but effective, one would say.
I think that Calgary is the next Carolina or Anahiem. One lucky playoff run and it's over. I can't see them making the playoffs as the west is way too competitive. This was their year and they blew it
Yeah, watching Tampa coughing up the puck to the Calgary forecheck in the first couple of games (game 1 especially anyway) was mad annoying to me :o
Good series.:y:
Hot playoffs all round
