WCW War Games
How did it work? What were the rules? how many wrestlers participated in it at a time?
|
From what I can recall as the proper rules:
- Two teams of 5 competed (although at Fawl Brawl 98 there was 3 teams of 3, WCW, nWo black and white, nWo Wolfpac) - Two rings, surrounded by a huge cage - Match would start with a member of each team in the ring, and every 2 mintues someone from the teams would come out and join the match - It would end when one team scored a pin or submission over the other. Think thats most of it there :y: It maybe abit rough, but thats from memory. |
thanks a lot man

I loved that match. I wish WWE would bring it back. That and World War 3.

Oh good god no!
I don't know why everyone has this wet dream memory of War Games...it was entertaining but it was a WCW special match, just like World War 3...and the only reason World War 3 worked was Ted Turner was dumbed and signed like 80 guys to contract and needed to get them out there somehow so why not have a match with 60 guys in it...no no no. I don't think any of WCW's special matches need a return....well....maybe Judy Bagwell on a Poll....but that's it :D |
I watched one on NWATNA and it was exactly like Disturbed said, except there was only one ring, and a decision can't be made until every member of both teams have entered, its also one fall to a finish.

Agreeing with LC... War Games was great. I'd love WWE to bring it back if done correctly.
|
the 1 fall thing was gay...
|
if they didnt screw up the Invasion thing they could have had Team WWF Vs. Team WCW Vs. Team ECW in a War Games Match.. that would have been a way to finally see who won the war...
